I was answering a post about abortion and saw another video on You Tube. It was about a 22 year old lady called Laura that had an abortion at 13 weeks pregnancy in September 2007. She died at the abortion. Her mother didn't know her daughter was pregnant and her boyfriend flew off to Iraq. What do you think?

Poor girl.Maybe the unborn baby didnt wanna die without seeing its mom.So it decided to take its mom with it.Its the last thing that the poor yound lady expected,I think.

That is a lovely way to make sense of what happened Sweetyethat. Perhaps you are right. Yes, Oraclemv, dying in one's sleep is the best way to die when one is really very old. No young person imagines they will die.

Yes, it was Laura's secret and now it is very public indeed. It must be terrible to want to keep quiet about something and then everything goes wrong, like dying. When I was in my early twenties I went around the world, got married and had a baby. Poor Laura was too young to die.

Where did she have her abortion? I too wonder if maybe the conditions in this place caused it or if it was a mistake on the doctors part, or maybe something that just happened. DO you have a link or something to the story?

I think that is incredible, and only shows how far we have to go on this most delicate issue. It also shows how irresponsible the boyfriend was.

Hi my friend Mipen. I hope that you are well. Yes, abortion is a touchy subject and a delicate topic. Sadly soldiers are expected to go off abroad when they they are required to do so.

This is very sad. I wonder if the place she went to have an abortion has something to do with this? or this 22 year old lady just didn't handle the abortion... Anyway, whatever it is...very very sad for the family.. I believed as Parents, we should encourage our kids or motivate them to be open to us about anything!

This is really sad. I feel so sorry for this woman, her family, and friends. Now, a mother has lost her daughter, and a soldier will come back, and never see his girlfriend again. Now, two lives were lost. I feel so sorry for her family and friends.

Thanks for your wonderful response. I think the lady was too young to die. She was just 22 weeks old. It is so sad for the mother and boyfriend is so upset. He said it was her choice and she could have an abortion or keep the baby. I feel so sorry for everyone involved.

Oh my god? 13 years' old? I know think people should do that, you know, at 13 years' old! I am sorry to hear that! At the same time, I do hope these teenagers should be a little bit conservative! Have a great day

This is heartbreaking. I will never understand why mothers can't simply hang on to the baby for a couple more weeks and then give it to a nice family? There are families all over the United States who would gladly take in a baby. I know several who have gone overseas for babies - why are we killing them here?

Thanks for your excellent response. Laura's mother adopted her daughter from Central America. I think adoption is excellent because it keeps the baby alive and someone can become a mum when nature won't let them get pregnant. Yes, so many people would love to adopt an unwanted baby.
