I have been washing our blankets and dunna's for the pass 3 days (1 by 1 in the bath tub) before cold weather comes. I have really good quality blankets that are very heavy and it takes forever for them to dry. I wash them at least 4 times a year at home and I somethimes take them to the laundry place as there is big washing machines there. I also have spare blankets in case I feel these have becomed too dirty and the weather does not allow me to wash them. But we all have showers before bed so its not like they are filthy. So do you wash your blankets? How often? Do you think we should wash them as much or as often as we wash our bed linen?

I have lots so to have them cleand there every time would cost me a fortune. They are pain in the behind to wash at home expecially now that I am sooooo pregnant and they need to be done before I am even more pregnant.

That is one hard job, I save up all my dollar coins and then pile all my blankets in the car and choof off to the laundrette, it is much easier that way and put them in the dryer there as well...
