Massive Gamma Ray Burst

A massive explosion of gamma rays about 12 billion light years away lit up the night sky and telescopes in September. What do you think it means? Here is a link to a pic and the story on Yahoo.

Doesn't mean a thing! It's only a star that blew up! As long as the gamma rays don't come earth's way, we're ok. 12 billion light years is farther than we can imagine.
