how often do you do your grocery shopping?

We usually have our grocery every week, that happens every weekend. We buy the stuff that we need all throughout the week such as milk, soap, shampoo, conditioner, can goods, bread, spread and other needs in the kitchen. At times we also try to buy stuff and just put it in the pantry so that the next time that we need it we don't have to go to the grocery every now and then.
How about you, how often do you go to the grocery, what do you usually buy? Please share.

For the main things such as Meat or canned goods, we will usually try and do that like once a month. But for the small things like Bread, Lunches for the week, milk, eggs, etc. we will go about once a week. We do find you spend more $$ if you do not make yourself a list each time you go though as well.

Hi I would agree to what I said those things that can last for long without rotting can be stocked and it can be use at any time but for those food that would rot then it has to be done more often in a months time. Though at times when I go to the grocery I am really tempted to buy those things that I see on but the list helps out eliminates those that are not really needed. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!

Hi friend, we too.. we usually go shopping every week most often every Sunday or Monday and will be the supply through pout the week or maybe more than a week. We usually buy, frozen vegetables because you can seldom find fresh vegetables here.. not like in our country, then, can goods, pack beans and pasta.. We put it in our pantry and the rest that we can not consume for the week will be use for the next week.

Thanks for sharing friend. Talking of vegetables we only buy those that are really hard to plant at out backyard but for the the green leafy vegetables usually we have a plant box at the back of the house where we plant it. Whenever we would like to use this veggies we just get it from our backyard not only that we can save from it but it ensures freshness.

Thanks for the share, Great to hear that you have the milkmaid deliver the milk daily that ensures you are getting fresh milk everyday. I love to drink fresh milk though if you are dieting this wouldn't help. I guess when you do grocery shopping every month you get a cartful of grocery good for a months time. I do my main grocery shopping on the weekend and buy what I've planned for the week and what we're running low on or out of. But, it never fails....you get home and there's something that you forgot...or someone comes up with the bright idea of having this instead of that for dinner one night. So, I probably end up picking up a few things at the store two or three times during the week too.

We usually go for grocery shopping twice a month. We buy soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, shampoo, some food etc. We go to the store on weekend, usually saturday morning. After shopping me and my husband will stop at our favorite restaurant and have lunch together.

every week, or every other week, or every payday hahaha, i buy in big sizes of shampoo, conditioner, laundry powder, oil, etc that can last for a month or so, for food, i prefer to buy every other day because i want them to be fresh. i feel that i save even a little when i buy in big sizes than buying small ones frequently

Hi kenchiprincess! I love grocery shopping. I enjoy browsing through many aisle looking for the best product that will also fit my budget. Just like you, I go to the grocery once a week, every Tuesday. I don't know why I do it on Tuesdays, but it has been a habit of mine since last year to do my grocery every Tuesday. The stuffs that I usually buy are instant coffee, creamer, sugar, toiletries, cleaning materials, canned goods and condiments.
