When I am sailing around I sometimes have to use the laundramat in the high street if there isn't one at the marina. And sometimes there isn't a marina, just the village pier. Most of my 'smalls' I wash by hand on board but all clothes benefit from a really good wash every now and again.

I've taken my clothes to a laundry mat to wash myself but I've never had the laundry mat wash them for me....that thought actually just creeps me out LOL..I did know ppl in the past though who would do that because they just didnt have the time to do the wash themselves...And some ppl of course take their "dry clean only" items in..I have "dry clean only" items but do them at home, you just ahve to be careful how you do them thats all...

Doing laundry - at the laundromat
When I first married in 76 I had to take my clothes to the laundromat because I didn't have a machine. I did them myself at the laundromat though. Thinking back; it was nice. There were other people there and little by little I got to know some of the regulars. Is was nice having someone to visit with on laundry day.
