Which is your favourite A R Rahman's song?

All his songs are favourate for me. Since his first songs in malayalam, in the film 'YODHA.'.Then i like his songs in the films 'Roja'.,Dil se etc. His songs never get bored, the more we listen a song the more we get attracted by the song. Nice discussion friend.

A die-hard Rehman fan here. It's impossible to choose one favourite of all the songs he has given music to. I love all his songs.. The best part of Rehman's music is even if you don't know who the music director is, You would come to know just by hearing the songs, no need to see the inlay card as we need to do for other music-directors. All his creations have a identity of their own. Among all his songs to name some favourites is Ori Chhori and Mitwa from Lagaan.. The inter mingling of the Indian and western in Ori Chhori is unbeleivable.. Others are Yeh Hasin Vadiya(Roja), Lukachhuppi(Rang De Basanti), Yeh Tara Woh Tara(Swadesh), Aye Ajnabi(Dil Se), Rangeela, Saathiya, Kaise mujhe tum Mil gayi(Ghajini)....the list is just endless!!

There are so many songs.DilSe is also one favourite of mine and i really adored the way he sang this in a live concert [telecast a few ayears ago].Did you watch this live program ? Yuva,swadesh,Kandukonden kandukonden,what can I leave now?The list is so big.

Instead of asking which is favorite, you could have asked which ones you dont like for that would be easier for they are just handful, i like most of his songs...most favorite are, Ai Ajnabi, Dil Se Re, Kaatre En Vasal Vandhai, Vande Mataram, Mayya Mayya, Egiri Gudhithen Vanam Idithadhu, the list goes on....

My favourite one is from Lagaan. Oo Palan hare. This is the superb song, which touched my heart when I heard it for the first time. I used to sing this song whenever I feel down and out in my life.

AR Rehaman has given amazing music and songs to Hindi and Tamil Movies. My personal favourite song is 'Chiku biku ciku biku raile' in the tamil movie Gentleman. I don't understand the lyrics completly but its good to listen. Roja and Saathiya has nice music.

I like all his songs, specially Dil se is also my favourite.

I have never heard of him. I also do not recall any of his songs are listening to them either. What kind of music is he and what kind of songs does he sing? I am mainly just curious so mabe I can check him out and the music he sings.

I have collection of A.R.Rahman songs, but still one song I like very much. That is ... Chinni chinni aasa in ROJA movie (Telugu version).

ya.. very true.. that was my best song when i was in my 10 grade.. but now his recent numbers in slum dog album r too good and cant stop them blasting in my car speakers. especially the number called MAUSAM AND ESCAPE.. just too good....

All his songs..its hard to choose one.but my favourite is Dilse,taal n roja..!!
