I was wondering does it really increase traffic to that website? I am just starting out with a Digg account and I found some neat news articles that I submited. Does this really increase the traffic to these sites?

If Your site is new and not many people know about it, it wont be popular on digg.. thus it wont get alot of visits. but if you site become well known and lots of people start to use it they will "digg" it.. the more that digg the most visits!

It makes a difference providing you got some followers on Digg. Personally, I find I get more traffic for my blogs and site from Stumble Upon.. . Derek

it will definitely increase your site traffic. Digg is a popular site so you can get some traffic. and you will also get a back link . so that will add up to the advantage. keep posting your link in as many sites as possible...
