Do you like to go barelegged when you wear dresses? If not, which type of pantyhose do you prefer? Stockings with garters, knee highs, fishnet, ones with designs, tights, control top, or just plain old regular pantyhose or socks? For me if I have them I would prefer pantyhose usually black in color(for I feel it has a slimming effect of at least 5 pounds)with control top. So what do you like to wear?

If I actually WORE dresses, then I reckon I'd go bare legged for sure! Even the texture of stockings when I've felt them come across as quite rough and uncomfortable, so I can only imagine that they'd take some getting used to. I'd wear a stocking over my head if I was to rob a bank though! Do you think this would make me look slimmer also?

Now that would be a site to see.. But I guess if Patrick Swayze can make a movie of him in a dress in drag, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it..Actually alot of actors have done that. Even Martin Lawrence,Robin Williams, and many more. Well, I don't know about making you look slim but it would give you a bad hair day..

I was just thinking about the static that might build up with the friction of the stocking over your head..would cause your hair to stick up in places..Thanks for the response.

It wouldn't be a bad hair day if I didn't take it off for 24 hours!

Thanks for the response I appreciate it. I never could get into wearing knee highs though..because they would keep rolling down and never stayed in place.

unless it is a place that has strict rules and I have to wear something on my legs, you will find me barelegged in the summer. I can't stand socks or pantyhose or anything on my legs and I wear them when I have to.

Thanks for the response. I appreciate. There is just times I don't feel like shaving and a pair of pantyhose is necessary. My husband calls me a porcupine when I don't shave my legs. Wouldn't want to accidentally brush up against someone if I didn't have time to shave..

Unless I am going to a special occasion which is rare..I don't shave my legs in winter. my skin dry enough and add irritated by razors to that..not a good mix. I have bought a product called smooth away but have used them on my arms and face and tried on a spot on my leg. going to wait for maybe the christening of the new baby before I use them all over since I will have to buy replacement pads.

yep I know what you mean, I don't have to shave my legs any more, but when I did, I kept them shaved in the summer but not the winter.

I find pantyhose really uncomfortable. So if I can get away with it, it's bare legs. Otherwise I wear a nice pair of pants. My grandmother must be looking down and shaking her head. Young ladies dress in stockings and SLIPS I can hear her now!

My grandmother wore pants they were always dressy pants though and she would wear knee highs with them. She wore her dresses also but mostly when she went places and to chuch. She loved working in her garden and tending to her flowers so a dress sometimes got in the way a bit for her. Thanks for the response ersmommy..

dresses?? hmmmm, can't remember the last time I wore one. I did wear a calf length skirt with knee high boots a couple of weeks ago and I had purple tights (pantyhose) with those. I'm usually in calf length trousers/leggings and will put on trainer socks (if I'm wearing trainers with them)

Thanks for the response..I am a bit behind..so sorry for the long wait.

Bare leggedness is a very sensual situation when you are in private with your love. Legs change many feelings in a relationship-I have known people who are infatuated with the legs of women-they stock women with a view to fantasy about their legs-so what you talk about, yes, my wife sometimes does the teasing on pantyhose, bare legged and I enjoy the fun!

i usually go barelegged when wearing dresses. unless the dress is really really short, i'll probably pair it up with mid-calf length leggings or tights

Thanks for your response bunnybon7, I really appreciate it alot. I figure thigh hi's are better then pantyhose that we have to struggle with every time we bend over or move a certain way..and easier to get on and off..

Thanks for the response I appreciate it alot. Sometimes they are used to cover varicose veins or help with circulation that is one reason my grandmother and great grandmother wore them. They can be either a blessing or a pain and sometimes both.

I feel that panyhoses were used when i was little and i barely ever see them on people now a days. I havent worn paythoses in years, so i guess i go barelegged. I dont like the fact that you haveto keep adjusting and pulling them up, that seems to bug me alot. I dont have to worry about what you said it makes you look skinny. I dont want things to make me look skinner than i am because i might look aneroxic or something. I like the barelegged look with dresses and then some high heel shoes to give some more fashion to your dress and of course they would have to match. Pantyhose are just uncomfortable and you never know about getting the holes in them and then looking holey LOL.

Runs and holey pantyhose can ruin a womans whole day if she were relying on them. Some use them so hey don't have to shave as often, to cover maybe stubble. That is one reasons I use them. They can be hot and sweaty in the summer and annoying as heck at the slipping and sliding of the material the struggle of trying to keep them where they are supposed to be when all they wanna to is go south...or do the twist.thanks for the response.
