I remember when I watched The Da Vinci Code movie it said that Angels & Demons was in production. Now I have seen trailers for the movie on the internet and on tv.
Do you want to see the movie? How do you think it will stack up to the book? Feel free to also post just anything else you think about what the movie will be like or anything else reltated to the movie for this book.

well i read all of Dan Brown's books and i really enjoyed them. i was really excited when The Da Vinci Code movie came out, but i really didn't like the movie at all. the book was very detailed and i think they did a horrible job making the film, i found for someone who didn't read the book and only saw the movie wouldn't understand what was going on throughout the movie.
Angels & Demons is my favorite book from him, and i didn't even know they were making a movie out of it. after the Da Vinci Code movie and how it came out, honestly im pretty skeptical about how the movie would turn out.

I think there is reason to be a bit skeptical after 'The Da Vinci Code' movie.
I didn't think the movie was that bad, but not that awful either. I think I've probably seen worse book to movie conversions.
I really loved Angels & Demons as well, it is probably my favorite Dan Brown book as well. To me, I think it will be harder to make that book into a movie that will make sense without the book.

I read the book and I loved it. Im hoping it lives up to the book. Although we will wait and see, I heard that they were not allowed to film within the Vatican for Angels & Demons, due to its anti-christ message. So they had to design thier own Vatican!
Davinci Code lived up to the book and im hoping Angels & Demons does the same.

Yes im sure it will be very realistic anyway. It was just a funny story. Apparently they requested to be able to film within the vatican and as soon as they hard it was based on a book by Dan Brown they dismissed the application without even reading the story!

I don't really want to see the movie. I've only heard bad or mediocre things about it, and it just doesn't look that interesting to me.

That will be great! I read the book and I'd like to see how they will portray the vivid descriptions in the movie. I think the movie version of "The Da Vinci Code" is passable and I'll be satisfied if they can do equally the same to "Angels and Demons". But of course, it will be great if they could portray more.

Yes, I am excited to see Angels and Demons. I want to see how they will put the scenes in the book into reality. I just hope they will stick to the book's scenes completely and don't miss out or add new scenes as seen in the book. I hope they don't botch this movie like the way they did with Da Vinci's Code which was horrible.

i 'm waiting for may 15th (release date for angels and demons). i hope it keeps up the reputation of the book. the book is truly mesmirizing.th best book i have ever read..

I'd like to see the movie Angels and Demons. I have read Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. I really like the book, it is all detailed and once you watch on the big screen you can still follow what's going on. So, I think better read it first before watching. I guess, I have to read it again. Have read it 2 years ago.*wink*

I am excited to see the Angels & Demons in big screen.I have read the book.it is one of my all-time favorite books.I hope the movie didn't veer away too much from the book.

I'm definitely wary about the movie because of what happened in the Da Vinci Code.
There's too much detail to cram into the movie, and that pretty much made the Da VInci Code dialogue heavy (boring!)
But I'll still see it, just to see how it went.
Of course, I'd rather have "The Solomon Key" than the movie... Do you guys know when the new book is going to be out?
