Do you or have you played the board game Risk?

I have not played recently but I have so many fond memories of playing as a kid all the way through college. Games would take hours and get so intense. It was my favorite board game ever.
Did you ever play Risk? Did you enjoy it as much as me? What was your favorite place to control? I loved taking South America!

I have played it a few times in the past and a few times online but I don't really care for the game,its not my kind of game.

I haven't played in years, but always enjoyed it. It seemed no matter what area I was, I would lose. I still enjoyed the game.
