Ok, maybe it's me but I just do not get this game! I was surprised a while ago to find out that my dad not only watched a game show but that he liked it so much! I guess I am into questions and answers like Jeopardy or Family Feud or even Trival Pursuit or something like that. What is the appeal of standing there and opening some cases and figuring out what moeny amonunts are inside? Seems really easy to mess up for one thing. What do you think?

Well, lets face it, the game is about greed and luck. There is absolutely no skill involved. So anyone, and I mean anyone, could possibly win alot of money. That makes the idea of winning alot of money accessible to anyone watching at home. The other shows you mentioned you have to have some kind of general knowledge or atleast be a quick thinker. I used to watch Deal... when it when it first started, but it stressed me out. I would be yelling at the TV... "just take the money!!!" I got bored with the whole banker in a box thing and them dragging out each decision...so that was enough for me. Now would I want to be on the show...you bet!

I have only seen the show a few rimes but that banker bit bugs me. What is that about? And, he (if he really exists) has to be rude to the contestants? I don't see the purpose in that.

deal or no deal? dont watch it as much as i used to even got a version for the computer its fun to watch someone sell a worthless case for alot of money or to risk all the money and end up with hardly nothing wonder how they go about picking people to be on the show do you think they purposely pick people who need money i like to watch how the contestants interact with howie mandel he is hilarious on there and as i recall he doesn't like to be touched so must be hard for him when the contestants get excited and want to give him a hug or something or when the contestants start yelling at the banker it can be pretty entertaining didn't think i would like it but howie makes it fun to watch.

I didn't know that thing about Howie M not wanting to be touched. That must make his job all the more difficult. He probably goes everywhere with hand sanitizer and stuff, lol. I'm kind of big on boundaries and personal space myself. I guess when people trade cases for good amounts of money it works out.

I like the show. It is all based on luck. No skill or special knowledge needed. At the same time maybe Howie makes the show. I personally dont like it lately with contestants as the ones holding the cases. I like the models. It seems that maybe that is why men watch the show. The Models are easy to look at. I do think that Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune are better games, but are they as fun to watch? I dont think so. I think that the best show to watch is Family Fued.

I guess that's the thing it's all about chance. At least with answering questions you have a shot based on what you know. You are probably onto something with that theory about the models.
