Japan
February 27, 2009 9:33pm CST
I was so excited to share with my friends this news! Yesterday's snowfall my second experience in Tokyo. It is the child in me getting excited now. Tokyo is too cold today also. During winter snowfall is common at Japan's northern parts, but not so common at Tokyo. Snow is mysterious and exciting for people like me, who did live in tropical area. When the monsoon rain swings with the wind we children used to play with rain drops. Have you experienced the snowfall? Please share your thoughts

Hi aryajayaprakash! Oh that is so wonderful! Snow is magical for me too! I live in a tropical country and it is usually rain drops that I am very familiar with. But a few years ago, I was fortunate to go to England and experience their four seasons. I had experienced my first snowfall and I ran outside our home. I was jumping up and down like a silly little girl. It was amazing! It was lovely! It was magical! Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

You are true. Me too went out of the office by taking permission from my boss to enjoy the snowfall. I was thrilled like a kid.

I lived in Tokyo three different times and saw saw twice. I was staying in Koenji Temple at the time. The temple had an inner garden and we woke in the morning to see this wonderful site. For a moment I felt like I was in a time warp, days gone by. It was a wonderful experience.

I know how you feel. I just came back from Korea and i was expecting snowfall during my stay there even if it is towards the end of winter. Well it still very cold there but unfortunately there was no snow and I felt a bit disappointed because snow is something quite strange and wonderful to one who comes from a country with only two seasons, rainy and dry. I had the chance to experience snowfall during a visit to Geneva in January a year or two ago and i had a wonderful time despite the freezing cold. I share with you the feelings of excitement playing in the snow and I look forward to another such experience in the near future.

Hey, what a match! I missed the snowfall at Geneva, Switzerland when I visited before almost 11 years from now. Ever since I have been longing for it.

Tokyo is not so cold like the norther Japan. The temperature rarely dips below the freezing level. That is the reason the snowfall makes us so happy. Thanks and happy mylotting!

It snowed the day before yesterday in Xi'an China. The snowfall is the first in this winter.Though it came so late,I felt very happy. The northen China is experiencing the severest drought in 50 years, this snowfall can relieve it.
