Why are most students scared of Maths subject? What is it that makes them develop disinterest in this subject or creates a fear?

I am also scared of maths.I haven't touched the subject of maths for many years because I major in arts. I think it is the way of thinking is not fit for math, which lead to disinterest in maths. The advantage of this kind of thinking is good at arts, but not in science.

A definite fear of attention to detail, and the prospect of limiting one's self to follow a certain format. The thing is, attention to detail is what makes professionals and amateurs different. And math requires you to use different formats and styles in creative ways. I call it structured art. :D

well, math it`s an exact object and it`s hard to understand, if you don`t know the basics. Almost the time, people are scared of math, just because it`s so much to learn, and you need to practice every time a lot, if you want to know a little math. I loved math until i comed at the high school. From there, the new teacher had another teaching method, and it was quite hard to undersand. But i`ve took lessons in private, and all was so nice there too. In the last year of high school, i understood from that teacher too, maybe because in the last year we were like friends, until then, i was so mad on her, because she always gaved me so bad marks.

I don't like math because it is boring. It doesn't really give me creativity because there's only one answer to all the problems. It is very logical. But I don't hate it because it is still very important, but I'd rather choose another subject than math.
