First, I am very sorry for your loss. I know from experience that losing someone close to you is very hard. Religion can help a lot with this, but I'm afraid science can do nothing but make it worse; I don't think you would want to hear the scientific explanation this soon, it will not be satisfactory... I can't really help you anymore than that at the moment, I don't want to accidentally offend you. If you could tell me what Religion she practiced, if any, and what Religion you practice, again if any, I could perhaps be of more assistance. If you really want to know what science has to say on the subject please ask again, but I doubt it will help. I'm sorry again for your loss, and I hope I can be of some help.

Hi sheenshaukat, I am sorry to hear about you mom and it is very natural that you should miss here. The only answer I can give to your question is for you to look around you at nature and at the universe itself. There is order in all thing and why should it not be the same with us? From observing all things, It does not appear that life ends but simply continues in a new dimension that we cannot truly comprehend from our present viewpoint. Your mother is likely very close to you but also enjoying a greater freedom than is possible while in this physical body. Blessings.
