I thought the movie was complete trash and a pointless waste of time for anyone who read the book. The plot points were twisted, the characters personalities where different and without even reading the book the movie was not that impressive.

I liked the movie, at least most of the time, but I didn't really like the book.

hello there, i have just completed reading eragon....and a liked it....it was wonderful. i have also started a discussion about what i think. i have read many reviews that the movie was not north a watch......and now, even yours. anyways, have a nice day.

Completely, 100% agree! Went to see it at the cinema with a friend, also a big fan of eragon, and we couldn't believe what they had twisted a good book into. It just felt so patronising and simple after reading the book, characters cardboard, inexplicabley boring and insipid!! Was very disapointing to say the least. However, I continue to be a great fan of the books, and await the suprise 4th book!
