Would you dare to travel to Pakistan or Afghanistan?

Pakistan and Afghanistan is a haven for terrorists/ Both of these countries are also endowed with many scenic beauties. What would be your reactions if somebody tells you to have a trip to these countries, where, of late, Foreigners are becoming the prime targets? An instant 'no' is what these terrorists want.

from my view ,i think i would not tour these countries where terrorists are here and there even if landscape as there is fantastic, because the main point we should concern in travel is safty ,protecting ourselves must come first.

I dont think I would travel to either of these countries especially not in these dangerous times. A war is going on and it is not a good time to travel. I wish that I could go to them sometimes. It will probably be many years before it is safe to travel to these countries. I'm afraid it will be.

I like to collect gem stones like lapis lazuli and it comes from two different countries in the world: Afghanistan and Chile. I am learning Spanish so I would prefer to go to Chile. I have a friend that lives in Chile and I am learning Spanish. I would worry about safety if I visited Afghanistan. I have seen a program about people getting kidnapped abroad and that happening would concern me greatly. One journey I hope to do one day is from London overland to Kathmandu. To do that I would need a visa to go through Iran and that might be challenging to get. Then I would travel through Pakistan before reaching India. I have heard Pakistan is a bit dangerous these days to I would check safety before going through it. I am rather scared of meeting a terrorist.

its not about daring..it would be stupidity to go there with crazy terrorists going out of their minds...no one is safe there coz terrorists are strking at will and the government is not doing anything there
