Do you write in a journal still...

or do you just keep one on the computer? Or none at all. I stopped journaling a while back and I wish I had not. Because sometimes when I come across stuff I wonder what exactly was going on in that head of mine because it seems so deep and insightful and some of them seem so stupid and funny. SO do you still keep a journal?

I still keep a journal. I write in it when frustration starts hitting, or some exciting event that I don't want to forget because I always go back in my journal just to see what was going on back then.

I understand that with technology as it is now, it's easier to keep a blog or online journal instead of a notebook. However, I like the personalized feel of writing in a notebook over the more sterile version--though the medium is limitless online. I suppose it's because I can take a notebook with me anywhere while if I wrote simply online or with my laptop, I'd have to take it with me everywhere and I can't always do that. But yes, I still keep a journal and I carry it everywhere with me for jotting down notes, ideas, and general thoughts.

No, but I'll write a poem or a short story to reflect something, that always helps.

I write in one still but it's not every day. I write in it whenever I need to or when I feel like it. It is important to me and helps me a lot. I also have a little gratitude journal where I list some of the things I am thankful for. It is good food for the soul.

Hi. I used to keep a diary when I was a teen. Now I don't bother. About 5 years ago, I started to write in a journal (was going through a rough patch)and list 3 things that made me happy that day...whether the grillled cheese didn't burn or anything. I didn't think it would help to write things and feeling down....but it did. Maybe it's because we have to sort through our thoughts to get them onto the paper, I don't know. Whatever, it is, it helps, I recomend it others to satart a journal. Maybe I should heed my own advice and start one. Nadine

I write most of the time. I write my thoughts, my dreams, my realizations. I write since I was a child and I continue to write until now. The only problem now is that I no longer write in a notebook or a diary, I write everywhere in my notebook, in my cellphone and in my computer. My thoughts are scattered all over.I'm still thinking on how I will organize my journal so someday my future kids will read in order to get to know me better and learn from what I've been through.

No, I used to when I was a teenager, but since my aunt read my private things in my journal, then I stopped having one, It was more like a diary. But, I wrote down many things in it, and I used to go back to read what I wrote. It was fun to see my feelings laid out.

I miss old journals and writing in them. Now it's all about the blogs though. That's the eJournal.
