My eye is itching and I can't get it to stop. I put some eye drops in it and it didn't help. It is itching over in the corner of my eye where it is hard to rub. I have a cotton pad and I put some vaseline on it and rubbed it in the corner of my eye and it is not helping. I need some relief. Have your eye ever itch and you couldn't get it to stop? If so what did you do to get it to stop?

depends on what causes the itchiness i guess. mine is always because of my allergic rhinitis.. it stops after i take medications (anti histamines).. but don't take them right away just because i posted this here *LoL* see a doctor first. =)

It doesn't itch all the time it just started a few minutes ago. It might be an allergy. I don't have any medication for it. I want overdose.

Chevee, if you have any baby shampoo, put a few drops in some warm water. Use a cotton pad and wash your eye and eyelid going from the inside corner to the outside. Look in a magnifying mirror and see if you see an eyelash turned wrong.

I usually get a cold wash cloth and hold it to my eye. Sometimes I even get some ice and put it in a baggie and then hold it to my eye. Most of the time, after a while the itch will stop. I usually use eye drops like you said you already did. I'm sure you're being careful.

Howdy,Chevee!I am sorry you have the same problem as me,these days my eyes pains, and I can't stop, and I can't do anythig to it,so I ask my friend on mylot, they told me we should cherish our eyes, and don't use it for a long time;also please do eys-exercise,it is good for our eyes. I try to make a plastic bag full of water, then put it in hot water, then I put the bag on my eye for five minutes;then I put the bag in the icebox for a long time, after it be cooled to five degrees,I put it out,and put it on my eyes, and I find my eyes are comfortable! You can have a try,if you think it is useful! Good luck!

Hi cheeve I do get skin irritations like that especially when i am cleaning or working in front of the pc all day. If its just itchy, just wash your eyes with cold water and dont ever rub it. It makes it worst because the germs will easily spread onto your overall eye area. I dont recommend using eye drops unless it was suggested by your doctor. Your eyes has its natural liquid to get rid of germs and you just need a cold wash and a clean cloth. happy mylotting and smile always!

This may not work for you, but run a cloth under warm water and then put it on your closed eyes. Sometimes that makes my eyes feel better.

Most likely you would be getting a sore eyes. The one where your eyes is very itchy, red and results mote in your eyes. I had tried putting terramycin ointment on my eyes before and it relieves the itchiness, pain and redness. However, the best thing and the safest move for you to do is consult to an eye specialist. He knows better than anybody else.
