My little Sister is pregnant

I just found out that my little sister (she is 24) is pregnant, but I didn't find out the traditional way. I found out by logging into her MySpace account and seeing the little ticker on there that shows she is 11 weeks, 6 days along. I kind of got my feelings hurt, but I called and congratulated her. I am happy for her, but I wish she had called me and told me.

Well for starters congrats on becoming an aunt in a few months. I don't blame you I too would feel hurt if my sister could not tell me. Well in fact my mom and I have a feeling that my 21 year old sister is pregnant again, but she has not told us anything. But maybe she was not ready to let you know that she was pregnant yet. She might have been afraid that you might not approve or something. All you can do now is give her your support and be there for her through everything. I give you credit though for not telling her that she hurt you by not letting you know. That is a big plus because some sisters would have just gotten upset and mad if they were not told that their little sister was /is pregnant. Well I wish your sister the best and wish you the best of being a great aunt that spoils. Happy Mylotting

Yeah, I went yarn shopping yesterday and am going to make an afghan. I made afghans for all of my kids (3) and my nieces and nephews (9) last year for Christmas, so I hope she likes green and cream. LOL

AWWW that would be so nice, I am sure that she will like that. Thank you for the best response. I wish I knew how to make stuff like that, because if I did then I would have made all 4 of my children booties and then made booties for all my nieces and nephews which I have 9 nieces and nephews that is if my sister is really pregnant again and if she tells my mom and I . Again Congrats on the little niece or nephew. Happy Mylotting

Do you mean you log into her account? Then you knew she was pregant? I think she is just waiting for the right time to tell you this? How could you log into her account without her permission? In our country, we would only tell others our after pregnancy at 28 weeks. It is a great joy that your sister is pregnant. Enjoy this happiness. Have a nice day.

Thank God your sister is already 24 years old. If ever I found out that my younger sister who is fifteen years old will get pregnant. I will surely freak out. I can't promise that i would be gentle with her. She will surely get a harsh word from me. But my sister is good, i think she wont do that. I just hope.

It is ashame the way you had to find out about your sister's pregnancy. Is she single, could she have been embarassed? I just found out that my neice is pregnant, and I found out from a friend that barely knows her. My neice and I are very close, but she was embarassed because she is single. She is 22. I told her that I was hurt as well. I am no judge and jury...she is an adult, just like your sister. Oh well, who khows what goes through people's heads half the time. Congrats on your sister and you soon to becoming an Aunt.

Well, if Idaho was a common law state, she would be married, as she has lived with the guy for over 5 years, and they already have a 2 year old. So I don't think she would be embarrased. It could be that I moved last May and no longer live close, so we don't talk as much as we used to. I have kind of gotten over it, and am hoping she gets a girl this time!!
