Best friends.

If you have a best friend do you go that extra mile to make them happy,go round in the middle of the night if they are upset,give them your door key,make a special cake or treat them to little gifts and tell them all your secrets and of course this should be done for you as well ,how long have you had your best friend.

I used to do that. Now I don't tell my best friend all my secrets. If she turns on me like the last one, she won't have as much power to hurt me. She also can't make fun of me for my silly secrets that mean so much to me personally. We know we can call each other in the middle of the night for emergencies, and we try to be there for each other whenever possible.

My best friend is pretty much my husband, I'd do anything for him and I do, and he does the same for me. I do have other close friends that I hang out with, but they aren't as close as my husband and I are, we've been best friends for 6 yrs. now.

Hi suzzy3...MY husband is and always was my best friend, even before we were together as a couple.
I did have occasions to check on him in the middle of the night when he was sick, I visited him often and cooked him meals and did special things for him..I told him everything...Then we got married!...Hes still my best friend...Not sure if it was the special attention or the meals!

That would be my boyfriend. I do everything for him to make him happy. We have some happy times shared together and it's really something special for me. I cook his favorite food, do groceries for him and sometimes if I have the time, I do the laundry (just like what plain housewives do). And in return he treats me to dinner, massages my head, cleans the room, watches over me when I sleep, helps me with my chores sometimes, and he buys me some simple yet special gifts. There were times when we do stargazing at the park, then we will just sit on the ground and spend the rest of the night talking about everything. When I was assigned to work in another city, he also moved to another apartment. He gave me a copy of his key so I will have access to his room whenever I visit him. He's really someone I want to spend the rest of my life with.
