can a man married two or more wife?

Hi, In arab countries,wives are status symbols of rich shaiks! They even come to Poor countries(e.g-Pakistan,bangladeshetc) and marry teen-aged poor girls,giving money to their Parents. But if U look at their wives,they r NOT Satisfied... I would have selected a satisfied wife, than unsatisfied many! =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.

well, it's not for me, I can tell you. I'm very much a one on one person. I suppose I would consider it okay, on the basis that everyone is different, if women were also allowed several husbands. because this is not the case, I can't really agree with it.

I wouldn't want sharing my husband to some other woman. That's a NO-NO! I don't judge those people who have their own belief regarding it, but on a personal level, I would want to have my husband for myself only as I am to him (someday).

yes middle east men will have more wifes and their religion allows them to marry more ladies. they have more children also. as they have more money and are rich ,they can maintain more wifes. as i am in middle east now ,i have seen some people here who are maintaining more than 2 wifes. they will keep all those wifes in different houses and they will visit the wifes they want. i don;t like those idea of them ,because ladies are like furniture type,they will stay in house with fully covered with their black clothes and this was the rule they put to woman by men only .in middle east ,the wifes can;t go outside freely and lonely. but men maitains more families.they won;t allow woman for more husbands. men has ego and they feel that they are more dominating persons than woman and they control and restrict their wifes ,which i don;t like. woman can;t enjoy more. she don;t have any rights . so wifes should change their attitude and if they don;t like their husbands,she should change men. or should control her husbands. but i don;t know if their religion pertains that or not,but woman should have right to take their own decision they like. and if i am in govt and in its ministry, i will put all those men in jail ,who have more wifes. then i think the jails will be full in some countries.[/em].

hai friend, i know such things happening and they r permitted in a religion ,it is permitted in islam but i will be there ,i will not go for it bcoze i cant share my love with others,i wanna give my aall love and affection to only one and wanna make her love for life long.and in islam this is permitted in some special conditions.

NO----In our country,this method is law illicit,but if you are rich,or handsome or official ..................you can feeding the other woman,,,,in our country this is the mistress,,,,in chinese"Bao er nai"----------

certain religions allow it. but honestly, i think it'll be living hell for the guy to have more than one wife no? i thought one would be more than enough to handle. and moreover, put 2 women in the same house fighting for the attention of one man. hmmm. not very advisable.

Most of Muslims and arbian man are two or more wifes. i think this not god for us. because if u have a more then one wife you could not do well for them. like time ,money future plannning and etc. if i am a man live in these situation

its not practical to have lots of wives and kids right now unless im super rich!! why not? hahah ...

if i have been born there i qess il do like all the mens from there... a lots of wifes and even mor kids...:D
