Only just discovered this on Sky - what have I been missing???!!!
It's a long time since I 'lol'led anything on TV. The US shows are clever, but the canned laughter makes me switch off. FOTC doesn't need canned laughter - it's funny enough to stand up alone.
I just love the lyrics - it's the kind of thing I would write! And the little digs at the Aussies too. 'G'day mate.' 'He's Australian.' 'I kind of guessed.'
This was the perfect injection I needed after the dire disappointment that was the new Red Dwarf (nothing like product placement for a failing eco-car brand, eh guys?)

It's the best!! They are so brilliant, and all of their songs just seem so simple, yet hilarious. It kinda inspires you to go and write your own tunes about random stuff in life! I first started watching FOTC with my kiwi friends I made in Uganda - and songs like "Its Business Time" would get stuck in my head for aages...and that's not a bad thing! I also like the digs at the Aussies - hooray for kiwis!! :)

I had a long-term friend who was a Kiwi - she went back in the end (she was in the UK on teaching experience) When I win the lottery/get my book published/sell the kids I'm gonna join her!

OOh yeah, the live performances are hilarious too!! I really want to see them live - have to keep checking their travel dates & hope something works out!
