Ok so here is the story, from what I gather... There was a drawing in Taiwan on Thursday to increase spending. The grant prize winner would win the rights to a tropical island in Penghu. So the drawing was held and a winner was chosen.....a 4 year old boy named Yeh Chien-wei. How does a child of 4 years old enter a raffle? Are the rules for lotteries, raffles, and such that different?

As long as it says that kids can enter legally (which for raffles sometimes it does) I say go kid. Congratulations! I entered raffles at church picnics when I was that age. Often, you had to earn tickets to buy raffle chances by performing community service or memorizing Bible verses so I understand how this may have happened.

The four year old boy won the raffle so that is amazing and quite surprising given his young age. I wonder if the rules said all age groups could take part. The boy will be able to take one of more of his parents to the tropical island of Penghu. I wish him well because I know some children are so talented that they will go far in life.

wow ! so interesting, so the kid must be accompanied by his parents to hang out. i think more discount should be offered at least to one parent.

Whew.....I misread the title of your article and thought you said he was won in a raffle..... I think his parents will probably have to hold it in trust, I don't think other countries are as strict about age limits as America is.

Must be nice to win something like that. Maybe they will just allow his parents to go with him. Hope they take lots of pics so he remembers it! :)
