I'm tired. and its 12:30 am here in the Philippines I just finished doing the laundry about one hour ago. Saturday is a usual wash day for me. It's either we start washing the clothes with soap on a Friday evening, and do the rinsing on a Saturday morning. But this Saturday was different because I started washing our clothes in the morning, and have to stop because I have to put my child to sleep in the mid morning, because we are going to a party in the afternoon. So after the party, I continued doing the laundry. And I am so tired. How about you, what day do you usually do the laundry?

I start in Friday evening and Saturday a.m. When I just stay in the house, I laundry few clothes, do other chores to avoid the monotony of one job only, like laundry.

I try and get it out of the way before the weekend. On Thursdays and Fridays if I can. I am lucky at the moment though because I only have a small amount to do as my son os now in his own home and his wife has to look after the all the laundry he makes - and it was a lot!

I dun normally do the laundry at home.. hehe ^_^ Most of the time, it's my mom who's doing it, but she dun do it separately like u do.. SHe will do the soaking and rinsing about one hr before she starts to put them into the washing mahcine.. AFter which, she will hang them out to dry straight away, so that she's able to keep at night ^_^ But when it comes to weekends, she does not do the laundry at all, as it's supposed to be her 'off' day.. lol =D

I am the one who would do the laundry and I make it mostly on Monday if I can't make it on Sunday morning. I hate the white clothes because it need soaks and the most part I hate on laundry is soaking time..it takes a lot of time from soaking then rinsing the next day..whew... how I wish I could just throw all those soiled clothes to dustbin and change it to the new one...I guess that's my role in our home, a laundry man....

I hear ya! I feel like I'm doing laundry all the time. There is just me, my husband and two daughters. If I leave laundry long enough I can find myself doing 7 loads in one day (hence the reason I am up half the night doing it). It bothers my mother's mind. She had five kids and she doesn't think she ever had that much laundry to do. Well, I usually don't if I do darks one day, colours another, and whites another. It's just sometimes I get so busy it piles up and then I have a huge amount of laundry to do... and that doesn't include bedding which I don't do as often as I should.

i usually do my laundry when its my off cause im having a 3 days duty and 2 days off. my duty will start from 12nn til 10pm. so my last day i will put all my clothes in the washing machine and just wait for it to be rinse and dried. so while waiting im just checking my mail and do some responses in mylot. after it finish i'l just hang them and time for me to sleep and thats what i do during my off. finish all the things i need to do and just lay down in bed so that i will be recharge.

I am a late night person and a lot of the time I find myself doing laundry in the early morning hours. I have left it for today, though busy with two soccer games and my writing group (which is why I find myself doing laundry late at night). However, because we changed the clocks forward an hour this Saturday therefore losing an hour, I went to bed early and fell asleep watching the news. But, alas, I was awake a couple of times during the night, awake for good at 7am. Geez, I usually sleep until 10! That certainly doesn't add up properly with one hour time difference. I'd hate to have to make a trip abroad and have to deal with jet lag when I can't even handle on hour's time difference!

i wash clothes every other day. i and my four children (can you imagine how many clothes that would be if i only wash clothes once a week?) help each other to wash the clothes. and the place were we can hang clothes is not that big so i dont want to have problems specially when it rains. i like the smell of newly hanged clean clothes so it is okay for me to wash it every other day. i seldom wash clothes if we need to go out or we need to attend party

It was really tiring day for you. I usually do the laundy every Saturday morning because I don't go to work during weekends. I tried to finish all the laundry by Saturday so that I can rest the whole day in Sunday.

I do mine and my husbands on Saturday, mainly so he has all his work cloths for the upcoming week. I do the kids usually on Wednesday or Thursday. I have to break mine up into 2 days or I am stuck doing laundry for a full day....which gets kinda boring to me so I try to avoid that as much as possible. I usually have about 2-4 loads of each to do so I usually fill the washer the night before to save some time.

Hello Red, I am also in the Philippines. Yeah doing laundry is really tiring. But now anymore when we bought a new washing machine (automatic). The old washing machine is a waste of time and so tiresome. Would you like to try Automatic Washing Machine? It will do the washing, rinsing and drying.. its virtually washing without touching the water.

Girl you need to go to bed. No more party for you, if you keep working like this you'll be ill, then who will do the laundry. I do ours when the hamper is full, with only two to worry about it's not nearly as big a deal as it use to be. Take care of you.
