The compressed air car actually more impresses me. It will even use smoggy air from all the uncaring fossil fuel users out there. It will only use electricity for the pump to fill 'er up with compressed air that is available. But that is not my number one choice. My number one choice, is a Microsoft Office compatible product that is written in Java. Having a Java version of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc. that creates the files in the same Microsoft Office formats that can be created, edited, and printed from this Java program will be available on all kinds of computers, as long as it runs Java. And that would be almost every single computer, unless they make a new processor in the near future without a Java virtual machine ... yet.

Aren't you describing OpenOffice.Org? I always assumed it was written in Java since it is developed by Sun Microsystems.

I think anything that has to do with alternative energy. Inventions that can use solar power, wind power, hydro power, etc. Most do not use this today because they are still using fossil fuels. There is a limited supply of this type of energy source so a new renewable one will be best for the future.

I think it's the sunscreen lotion. Because of the effects of global warming, in the future, even men would be using sunscreen lotion for protection against the sun's ultraviolet rays. The government will be providing these lotions so you better negotiate with them so they will buy your product. The global warming will become worse in the future that it is mandatory for all people to use sunscreen.

I think is water. maybe in the future, water can be used as gas in cars...... Then it must be the most popular things in the future. but that may needs a lot of scientific work
