Yes I attended a birthday party of a granny about 2 years ago, it was a milestone celebration coz it's her 100th birthday. It was held in a well known hotel and was attended by about 200 people from family, relatives and friends of her family. I was thankful I had been invited in that occasion by an officemate. We had pictures taken with her. Very few people can celebrate a milestone birthday celebration so I was lucky to be part of that occasion.

Hello myfb. I have never attended my grannys' birthday in my life because they were gone when I was born. I still remember when I was a small kid, I used to ask my parents why I did not have grandparents while other kids had. Till now, I am still admiring those who have grandparents. Take care, friend.

Seems like, you are responding to my this very old discussion twice. It is good that you respect the aged people. Nowadays, not many people respecting the aged people. Pity to see many aged people being dumped by their children. My only surviving grandmother still staying with us until now and we always respect her. Hope you are doing fine with your work.

I have never attended any granny's birthday celebration this far. I don't see many old people around nowadays as they have mostly migrated to their permanent address before they can celebrate their grand birthdays. But am sure it is a joy for old people to celebrate their long lives by giving out parties as thanksgiving.

Hello myfb. I have never been to a granny's birthday in my life. I am so sorry to tell you that I have never seen my grandparents because they were away from us before I was born. I still remember that I used to ask my parents about my own grandparents out of curiosity because many of my childhood playmates had grandparents. I think that they are lucky to have them. So whenever I see aged people, I would love to call them politely Grandma or Grandpa. I respect the aged a lot and love them a lot. It is a very nice experience of yours to attend your friend's granny's birthday, who is so adorable. Here I wish her to enjoy her longevity. Take care. I thank you so much for being my new friend.

i have, but I don't remember exactly who or when. LoL. I don't think I've attended any big parties for grannies. it's usually just a simple, family gathering, comprising of like less than 10 or 20 guests. it not really consider a party it's more like a reunion thing.

Majority grannies birthdays are looklike a reunion. Even, we celebrated my grandma's birthday, looklike a reunion. It is for all family members to gather together and wishing her birthday.

I was able to attend granny's birthday last year. It's really good seeing the bonding of the family to return back favors to the granny.

As of now none. I really don't know any old people even from my friends. Its hard for me also to communicate with them because I'm not at ease with oldies. I don't know how to act and most old people I know is very hot headed.

Well, luckily my grandma isn't a hot headed person. She is very kind and gentle. I loves being with her whenever she came to visit my home. She loves to jokes and telling me, about her younger age stories..
