Do you report to your girlfriend or boyfriend?

A pretty funny scenario I saw it from one of my friends. Everytime, we, a bunch of good friends get together, he has to report to his girlfriend where he is at, and what he is doing at the moment. We asked him, did his girlfriend make him do such unnecessary report? He said "no", he just want to do it voluntarily. I guess that he is a really honest man to his girlfriend. What do you think of that?

I think there is nothing wrong with texting or calling your gf/bf where you are, especially if your seriously in love, or committed. It's part of relationship, and he said it right it come voluntary, it wasn't a demand. It's just showing how much she/he means to her, and giving importance. Have a nice day to you!

I think that it's usually becuase the girlfriend (or boyfriend) who's demanding to be "reported" to constantly is possessive & too controlling, but I suppose it all depends on the situation and the type of relationship. I know that married couples (who have been together forever, live together, and have a family together) might want to keep tabs on where their spouse is throughout the day. So I suppose it just depends on the situation.
