When is the last time you were @ Disney World? What is your favorite Disney park? Was it for a vacation or just because? Do you go there often? I think the last time I was there was about a year ago, maybe less. I try to take the kids every year for their birthdays but was a little off this year with them in school and other things going on. We all have annual passes to the Disney parks here in Florida so we tend to go pretty often. We live about an hour away so that makes it even better for us. When I was younger I used to go just about every 2-3 months just to do something different...guess it really wasnt that different since we went so often. My favorite is and always has been Magic Kingdom. Epcot is more formal in my opinion so now its harder to go because there is less for the kids to do. We usually go there if we go up to Orlando later in the afternoon. My middle son loves Animal Kingdom because he loves animals and insects and stuff. He likes the big tree they have there. My oldest likes Magic Kingdom as does my daughter. He likes it because of all the rides for his age/height. And its my daughters favorite because it has all the princesses there and Cinderellas castle.

We were just down to Disneyworld in December for our first Christmas holiday trip there. We did the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and spent 8 days having fun and even one day splashing around in the pool (we're from Chicago, so this was a great way to spend a day). We have the vacation club thru Disney, so we usually plan one trip each year for about 9 days. I'd like to go more often, but that's really what works best for the family. Right now, because of the age of my nephew, Magic Kingdom is where we spend most of our time. I think I may have overdone my enthusiam for Disney with him, it his favorite thing to talk about. My favorite park is Hollywood Studios. I love the shows and the rides. I hope they keep adding to this park, there is just so much they could do. Magic Kingdom, for me, is a close second. It is, after all, what we all think of when we think of Disney. Our next trip there will be in October. We'll be taking part in all the halloween festivities and hopefully spending a bit more time splashing around in the pool.

Sounds like you guys had a great time. I love going there during holidays and when they are all decorated up there. There are so many things to see and lights!!! And being able to go play in the water in the winter is always great. Bet you dont get alot of that in Chicago?!? I love Florida and I dont think I would do too well in the cold states so I suppose I will just stay here. The Disney Vacation Clubs are nice to have or at least look into. You can get some good deals with them and they offer everything, just about, for your trip so its very nice to have. You dont have to worry about where to stay or how to get to and from, etc. And its a more personal experience.

Back in 1988, I went to Orlando. Many changes have been made since I was there, but I haven't been back since. I hope to go back at some point, I just don't know when I'll be able to afford to do so. I want to see how much it has changed since I was there as a kid.

They are always adding new things to each of the parks, even if its just little things. The prices have changed as well (unfortunately!).

I haven't been to Disney World in about 17 years. I went for three days for vacation. That was the first time I had seen Universal Studios. I will always love Magic Kingdom no matter what else new they bring to Disney World. I'm hoping to be able to take our kids sometime next year since they have never been there yet.

We went to Disney World last Dec. 2007, but it was on Hong Kong Disneyland. Almost all of the Disney Park was our favorite. I remember we dont have enough time to explore the whole park and we even go back the next day. We visited Tomorrow Land, The Golden Mickey's, Main Sts. Fantasy Land and a lot more. it was a nice experience being there... Might plan another trip to go back, maybe next year.

I went to Disney World last summer in July. I have been to Disney World 3 times. I love Disney World and if I lived in Florida I would have a season pass there. I guess I am still a kid. My favorite park is Magic Kingdom. But, I always go to all the parks. Epcot to me is more for grown ups but not for kids. Last summer my daughters & granddaughters ate breakfast with the Princess. They had breakfast at one of the restaurant in Epcot.

My last visit to Walt Disney World was last October, I went to all 4 parks and also Downtown Disney. I stayed in Animal Kingdom Lodge with a Savannah room overlooking giraffs from my balcony. Like many others, my most favourite park is Magic Kingdom but I enjoy the other 3 also.

Last year we went to Magic Kingdom. It was a nice time for our family. My boys are teens , so they went off on their own and we stuck with our 8 yr old daughter. It made for a relaxing day. I like the park the best that has all the shows. I can't think of which one it is. Last time I was there we saw all the shows where you feel like you are in the movie. Do you know what I am talking about??

We went to Magic Kingdom last year. That's summer of last year and it was SCORCHING HOT on the streets! We spent the whole day there and we watched shows like Indiana Jones, Beauty and the Beast, etc. The lines were so long at the 4D cinema for Toy Story (I think) so we did not get to see that -- that would've been good. That's the first time I've been to Disney World. I think I'd like to go to MGM Universal Studios next time - is that still part of Disney? Anyway, our trip there last year has been fun. Oh, except for the fact that it rained that night too!!! HAHA! That was funny. We spent a few hours inside a store to keep out of the rain but we were drenched by dinnertime so... yes, that was an experience worth remembering! :D

Hi, Callahanb you're all lucky to live near Disney World. I have never been there. I wish I have though... I love disney movies and stuff and I've been dreaming to seeing disney for real since I was a kid. The nearest DisneyLand from where I live is in Japan and HK but I can't still go there lol... talk about not being able to afford to fly out and see them. But the one place I want to relaly be is Disney World, FL. My friends said that it's pretty big and a great place worth visiting... ^_^

I have never been there. When I was growing up we never took vacations any wear. I heard it is really beautiful there. One of our children from the daycare center went last year she is 1 1/2 she loved it. They gave me pictures of Mickey and Minnie for my mom because she loves them. Plus I kind of requested them for her also.

I have not been to Disney World for about 17 years or so. We are planning to possibly go back. My nephew was invited to go to Disney World with us when we were going down for a couple of weeks years ago. He remembers not being able to go. When I asked him where he might like to go when he graduates college, he answered Disney World. I thought he would pick some place else but am glad he picked Disney World. I believe there is a science to Disney World. The first day should be the Magic Kingdom. We want to make sure and see "A Small World," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Haunted Mansion," "Enchanted Tiki Room," "Hall of Presidents,""Jungle Cruise," "Splash Mountain," "Space Mountain,""Tom Sawyer Island," to name a few. "Country Bear Jamboree" is also a hoot. I like to pick a neat place to have a good meal somewhere at midday and my choice would be Cinderella's Castle. The next day would be Epcot Center. My abosolute favorite place in Epcot is Imagination. I love Figment. Of course, we would do the front of the park in the morning and visit the countries in the afternoon. Germany is a favorite, it reminds me of grandma's cooking. I love to look at the cookbooks and products in the different countries. Beyond these two days, we would wing it for the other parks as we are not too familiar with them. We would not miss a bit of it though! I would hope that we could do a couple more days beyond this to revisit things we really enjoy personally. It will be fun to take our grown kids back to the park. They are almost all over six feet tall now.

I have never been to Disney World. My brother went there when he was 9 years old. I hope to go someday with my husband and our young daughter. I know she would love it and I want her to have fun memories in her childhood! I would take allot of photos and I know I will be able to afford bringing my family there, after I finish college and become a Computer Software Engineer :) I'm so excited and can't wait :)

I have never been to Disney World or Disney Park. I would love to go someday though. My four older kids have been to Disnley World, with thier Aunt as she was sweet enough to pay their way. I would love to have the opportunity to visit both Disney World and Disney Land. I would probably love touring Epcot center and visiting Magic Kingdom, and I know that my two youngest children would also love to go to Orlando and visit Disney World. My daughter loves animals and I swear that one day she is going to be a vet, so she would definitely enjoy visiting Animal Kingdom. One of these days we will get the chance to go to Disney World.
