This is not a good question to ask. After the age of six people should not be hitting one another. Domestic violence is a huge problem. Hitting your partner will land you in jail, and mess up your life in a big way. If your partner does something that makes you want to hit her, you need to find another partner after you take a domestic violence prevention class for about a year. Im' not saying you would hit, but in general, this is my advice.

There should be nothing that makes a person think hitting their partner is a reasonable response. Well, I take that back, I suppose if you walked in on something truly horrific like your partner abusing your children then perhaps your emotions would take over & you'd strike out before you could stop yourself. Nothing short of extreme though should result in a person assaulting another.

i hit my ex partner when he told me he cheated on me! i never thought he would everdo that to me.. it wasnt like it was a hard hit or anything it was just a hit!.. he knows why i did it and im sure if he was in my shoes he would ofdone the same!
