I don't mean highest paid. I mean which one is the most prestigious and gets the most respesct? Doctor? Police? Firefighter? Teacher? Lawyer? What do you think? I think these days it is a doctor. Sadly, where I am from, teachers don't get much respect.

Hello! You may not agree but the most prestigious profession is the teachership job because the teachers teaches us everything required in our life.Ofcourse they are not better paid for which good scholars don't prefer to accept this job.In the society the teachers' position is placed at par with the parents. So we must give him due regards to our teachers as we are giving to our parents..thanx.

For me, the most prestigious job are those who teach the word of God, ministers of the word of God. They don't only saves life but also improve the quality of life. Many people don't believe in them anymore because of those fake ministers that gone out of the public. They are like the pharisees in the time of Jesus who view themselves as righteous ones but they just embarrassed God in front of those people who are still living in the dark. Real ministers for me are those who can devote themselves for the glory of God. They are able to give all their time for God and rely only on Him. They are those who don't trust in their own strengths and on the strength of others but fully trust on God. They are the ones who got really close to God and backed up by God Himself by showing signs and wonders.
