In the new spending bill there is aprovision to stop the voucher program for poor students in Washington DC. The program has been very sucessful and they have more students applying than they have vouchers. Should congress keep this program?

Of course they should keep it.... unless of course they are going to eliminate the Department of Education and turn control back over to the countys and states where it belongs. The reason they are not keeping it is to placate the teachers union who feel threatened by school vouchers.

Why should the states have control the Unions are doing a great job of keeping the school in need of more money and more teachers. I would like to see vouchers in every state.
