Sorry to hear that. I lost my cell phone before so I know how you feel. You must immediately report it to your provider to cancel your subscription otherwise you will be charged big time if the person who found your phone starts using it calling long distance, then the big bill is coming to you. Also, contact the major lost and found centres and report your case and check with them on a regular basis to see if anything turns up at their sites. Again, sorry about your phone and I wish you all the best in finding it back. Cest_moi

Of course it would be a sad thing if you lost something especially valuable items. I've never lost any important things I own and I must say that I am lucky because of that. I remember that the most bad experience I had was when I lost the book I borrowed from one of my friends in the university. I was second year college that time and the book I borrowed is Economics. It was a very big and thick book and I left it inside a drawer in the office where I worked part time student helper. Then when I checked it the next day it was no longer there! It was missing and I even tried to find it everywhere in the office, ask my co-workers who was the person they saw in the table I had used and in case they saw a thick Economics book. But my shoulders fell when none of them could tell me where is the book. The sad thing is that I just borrowed the book and I immediately told to my friend who got mad at me. I really apologized but he told me that I needed to pay or change the book I borrowed. I was really shocked with his reaction because he pushed me to the limit even if I tried to ask for more time to earn enough money to buy a replacement of the book. He got mad when he found out about his book that I lost. I did replace the book and we were never friends again. I never thought that even is he no longer needs the book because he was done with that subject and they are far richer than I, he still insisted and even pressured me. I will never ever borrow from a friend again and I had a traumatic experience with that.

You need to report it stolen as soon as possible. You should also call your provider and ask them to cancel the number and block the account, otherwise you may be charged for calls (depending on the plan you have).

it also happend to me before. i lost my cell phone on the taxi, i left from my friend's house and took a taxi, after i went down from taxi, i found my cell phone was gone. i thought it was missed at friend's house, so i call my phone number using my other friend's phone, there was somebody answering the call and i asked him if my phone still at your house, he said yes. after 5 hours, i came to my friend's house again to pick my phone. but my friend told me he didnt see my phone. then i understand, the taxi driver picked up the call and pretented he was my friend :(

I am sorry to hear that Very few honest person will only give back a lost handphone. When I lost something (usually my umbrellas) I just think that who ever find or get it, he/she needs it.

Just move on...I've lost my cellphone once...at first my initial reaction was I got angry with someone who took my phone, also I blame myself from ignorance that I left my phone in my bag while ordering lunch, but as I learn to accept that my phone was lost and was taken by bad guys...I started to move on...nothing will change and I cannot retreive it...I've learned from my mistake and be more careful next time. I'm sure you will have your new phone next time so better take care of it!(^_^)

i feel sorry for you. it's really frustrating loosing a phone. recently it has been a habit of everyone to keep confidential information in our phones too due to a fast pace kind of lifestyle (accessing information via internet where sign in id's & pw should kept handy). first inform your service provider. second, call your banks (if there are account information stored in your handphone). it would help if you will find a police report too (although it took almost a year to track the offender, a friend of mine was able to recover her handphone with the help of the authorities)

Your handphone may be stolen by a theif. In this case, he or she will not give it back to you. So you need to be careful when you go to the crowded places from now on. If you really can not get it back, the only way is buy another one. So sorry to hear about this. When I go out, I always keep it in my hand. Have a nice day.

I understand your feeling. 5 years ago, I bought a bike for my husband. At that time, I just graduated from school, and got my first salary. I used my salary to buy the bike. What happened then? Just after a week, it was stole! I look for it once and once again in the garage, just because I didn't believe it had been lost. After about 3 days, I finally received the fact, yes, it had beed stolen.

Once while returning back home at night my cell phone fell down from my pocket.i came back home and checked my pockets,i realised its gone.I late night went through the place i travelled checking for my phone but bad luck dint get it.Since the same time i started giving rings on my number, for a day there was no reply and since next day of that somebody started disconnecting my calls. It was sure now that somebody has found it and dint wanted to return,it went on for many days, the person who got my phone was using my same number.I was scared of the person misusing my number,so i filed a complained at police station, dint got the phone but my number was safely blocked.

Honestly, it ruins my day if I lost something especially if it is very important to me. But if I don't find it at all, I just let it go. Anyways, those are just material things. Can still be replace.

Sorry you are having a bad day. Unfortunatly I have lost mine before. The best thing to do is call ASAP and report it stolen to avoid being charged for phone calls. My phone was through AT&T and they blocked the phone that I had purchased through them. Even if someone truly stold it they couldn't use it so it was useless to them. If it was a very expensive phon you may want to offer a reward for it. Sometimes that will help. Personally I don't invest a lot of money in a phone but some people hav really expensive ones. Good Luck I hope you find it but be sure to call and report it anyway!

I am very sorry about that. Thta happens to everyone usually at some point, sometime sthe person will return it and sometimes they are not ethical and keep it. I would call your cell phone company and tell them it was lost and see if they can stop your account for now so you do not get charged for a lot of calls and texts you didn't make.
