Are you in the "Spring Cleaning" mode yet?

Last week we had 60-70 degree temperatures and I got all excited and went and bought paint and border and curtains and decided to jump right in. Well I managed to get the computer room cleaned and painted, new curtains up and then Whammo! It is now like 30 degrees with snow flying around again and I just stuck all my purchases in the closet. I'm thinking that I started way to early but the problem is I have to do it when I am in the mood or it doesn't get done. Now I may never get back in the mood! So have you started your Spring cleaning yet. Does it matter to you whether it's cold outside or not?

You are to funny. Spring cleaning Ick. I hate cleaning that is why I have a roommate that loves to clean. Well, he does do laundry really great. When I get to it ok. My Mom used to do all that stuff and my Dad would wake me up early and say shhhh time to leave. Your mom is going to go crazy. And he was right we got back and the living room was pink no longer tan. Oh my what a ugly color it was. I do a lot of so called spring cleaning in the winter. I call it get ready for taxes cleaning. But this year I could of cared less. I took a good long look at my house and went oh my. Mail here there. Not any more sredded it all. I'm doing the dinning room first. As I can't see it. Was depressed still am but not as bad. But I still hate cleaning. Your friend onlydia

I come from Asia so there's only one season and it's hot all year round. Spring cleaning is whole year round for me. I mean I am constantly cleaning my apartment like once I see the ceiling fans get dirty, it's time to clean it....etc. Cleaning and clearing out unwanted stuff is on going in my house.

I actually started "Spring Cleaning" a few months ago. I do this type of heavy cleaning/organizing/clutter-reducing a few times a year. Then I am amazed at how neat everything looks for about a week. That is before real life steps on and I realize how much I do not like housework. For many the weather does have an impact on this type of cleaning. I noticed most people I know do "spring cleaning" when it is a beautiful day, but still very cold. Too cold to go play outside. Yep, adults play outside.

hello fasttalker lol i hear ya about the snow flying around like that, here in Middle Tennessee yesterday, we had the same kind of weather, the day before, it was like almost eighty degrees here for the high. i just do not understand this crazy weird weather that everybody seems to be talking about where that they live. and yes, i will wait until sometime in May before that i start to Spring Clean the house. it has to be warm weather and several beautiful sunny days for me to be able to get any Spring Cleaning at all done. lol who wants to Spring Clean when that it is snowing and cold outside? not me. and i know what you mean when that you say that you have to be in the mood to Spring Clean like that, i do as well, or forget getting anything cleaned. lol i hope that it gets nice again weather wise for you and you can continue in your Spring Cleaning, and it sounds like you have a good start on it. take care and have a beautiful evening.

It does matter that it's cold outside. I like to open my windows while I'm spring cleaning..lol. It's gotten cold here again too and I was just getting in the mood to do it. Maybe next week. I know the warm weather isn't to far off now. My tulips are coming up.

Yeah this weather even has the plants all confused! My Easter Lily's are poking their heads out and yesterday I seen a Dogwood tree with blooms on it. Spring is trying to show it's face here! LOL
