I was driving a DOUBLE-DECKER bus!

March 13, 2009 3:44pm CST
Had quite a weird, unusual dream last night. I got on a bus and got in the driver's seat! This was no ordinary bus, it was a double decker (it has two levels where the passengers sit; ie: a downstairs and an upstairs - there are many in London, our capital city). However I was driving it in the countryside in the county of Devon in the south-west of England. Along leafy hedged roads, with many green fields, between the towns and villages. It made me feel quite anxious, as I was not so confident about driving such a large vehicle, but somehow, I drove over 10 miles (16 kilometres) before another driver took over. The details of the dream feel a bit hazy now, as I write this in the evening following the night before. Don't remember getting many passengers on this bus - just as well as the driving took up most of my concentration! An interesting dream - I wonder how a dream psychologist would explain it? I'm guessing it has something to do with my progress through life in general, maybe don't worry about things so much, just get on and do it, it will come right anyway! Have you had a weird, unusual dream recently? Do you put an interpretation on it? Please tell us myLotters all about it!

I think this dream shows stress and is showing you that something unusual might be happening at the moment. In your dream you were driving a huge bus along country lanes. You felt uncomfortable about that and were happy to let another driver take over after the first ten miles. Maybe you were dreaming about going traveling. Perhaps your life is going really well but you do have some concerns. I get a particular dream if I have a fever. A stress like dream that I can get is myself at an airport and all my luggage has been lost. My dreams are often about about traveling because that is my top hobby.

Thank you, some interesting responses... takes me back to when I was learning to ride motorcycles and then driving cars... it took me a while, to get confident. Actually, I did draw an Angel card recently, which mentioned 'change of direction'! Not sure what direction exactly, that might be though! ^_^ ^_^

There is a web site that helps diagnose dreams for you but i cannot remember what it is called,Dreamsite or something like that.Yes I did start having a dream ,it was really strange :I was sitting in my front room and there were people dressed for walking all over my garden,in the next bit of the dream they started walking through my front room .I objected to this but a man from the council turned up and told me that my house had an ancient public footpath running through it and everyone had the right to stick to the path if they wanted to and they did ,I had hundred of people trawiling through my front room while I watched the tv and it was drafty and cold upsetting and there was nothing I could do about it.Thinking about the dream over the next couple of days ,there was always someone in my home ,my sons friends,my daughter her kids, people knocking the door.At the time I was working so much,so without be horrible I slowed down the amount of people coming round to my house and the dream stopped.

In my great wisdom, HA. I would say some stress is showing up. Other then life's trip is there any travel in your future? Those are obvious but what I always tell people about dreams is there may be hints in the dream but the main thing to examine is how you felt about the dream. is this any help?

Thanks savy, think you're probably right about the stress bit, can tend to be a bit uptight about things and know I need to relax that little bit more! As to travel, yes I have done a lot in the past. Have no immediate plans to travel abroad at the mo, but keeping my options open! Only have plans to travel round southern England at the moment. Cheers for the response!
