Hehehe... what a question. Mylot-ers... i am a girl but sometimes i think about that. Do you think that girls deserve more respect just cause we are girls...? Hehe... im pro-women! So i prefer to say YES... ahhahaha But being objective, i has no reason to say yes, but partially yes and no... i think both girls and boys... men and women have equal right for respect!

Hi manya_pearl, I think that's stereotyping. Respect is, in no way, gender-related. Both guys or girls deserve to be respected for who they are. Girls are respected when they can do things that guys normally do. And guys are respected when they can do things that guys don't normally do. That's just my opinion. Hahaha.. Respect is not for one man but for the people. :)

It is a good tradition to respect woman in our society. So it does not matter whether woman deserve respect or not. It is just an attitude showed by our gentlemen in all countries. I also know in some countries people look down upon woman. They think woman is unable to do many things. In my opinion, everybody in this world need to be respected because we are the members in the beautiful world. Cheers.

In some ways, yes. Women do deserve to be just as respected as a man but there are some things about women, as far as being a wife and a mother, and they have extra duties and yes they need to be more respected.

I don't think that women get enough respect. Women take on so many roles and have to try to keep a steady balance in life, we just don't get enough credit for it. I'd say we probably get more than generations before, but we also have more roles than women fifty years ago did. It is way more common now for women to work and raise a family than before. There's also so much more pressure put on younger girls now days. I definitely feel that girls have it harder than boys and deserve more respect.
