evsoriano, without doubt, BF is a man of action. His actions, however, are sometimes put to question by many who do not approve of the way he does his business. What would you say to those who think that he's willing to trample on the human rights of others in order to carry out his duties? How would you respond to some who feel that the money spent on the unkempt pink urinals he helped put in place and the numerous posters splattered all over the metro could have been put to better use? Thanks a lot for sharing your insights and Happy myLotting!

I'm for Villar as well, I knew the guy for such a long time being a salesperson marketing his former MVB now Vistaland properties. He's a simple, very low profile man despite of all his guts and riches. I do believe he's not corrupt as has the wealth before he entered politics. He successfully runs 33 companies before although consolidated to few as required when elected. He would be a good leader as well to successfully run the country. I am for Francis Escudero for my VP. I just hope Escudero would run for president next time and be contented for vice pres. for the moment.

If I may ask, though, what do you make of the accusation made by Sen. Ping Lacson that Sen. Villar had a rather shady involvement in the C-5 controversy? Also, what if Sen. Chiz Escudero decided to run for president instead? Will you still vote for Sen. Villar? Why or why not? Thanks a lot in advance for your much valued answers to my questions, bing!

If I were not underage and inexperienced, perhaps I'll also file my candidancy. On second thought, COMELEC might just consider me as a nuisance candidate. hehehe. Anyways, I am still for Villar. I think among the presidentiables,he's the least evil. hehehe

nympha687, you'll never know, unless you try. For all you know, you may even perhaps be "the one" we're looking for all along. Kidding aside, and for the sake of enlightenment, though, can you tell us why you think Villar is "the least evil" among the presidentiables? Additionally, if ever you do, why do you believe that he'll be a good president? Thanks in advance for your much anticipated response and Happy myLotting!

Honestly, I still don't have anyone in mind yet.. I think it's still pretty early to decide, anyway. These people who are already on the "presidentiable list" still need to prove themselves. The Philippines is still struggling in terms of economy and others, so we need to be careful in choosing our future leaders. We've made so many mistakes in the past, let's try not to do this again.

I totally agree, icecroft. We really cannot afford to take the next presidential elections lightly, as we are faced with immense socio-economic and political problems. Imho, the biggest problem that the next president has to face, though, is the crisis of confidence that currently plagues our country. The trust and confidence of the people in their leaders need to be addressed, as no project or plan that the next president intends to carry out would actually materialize if the Filipino people will not support such president and his/her initiatives. If you have anyone in mind already, feel free to post here again because your choice may very well turn out to be the best one among the roster of presidentiables we'll be having for 2010.

Honestly, i have no idea at the moment. I want to give the opposition candidates a chance to see what they can do, since they seem to be almost perfect. Also, so that the militants will stop from creating trouble. I'm sorry for my choice of words..

I don't have any choices as of now. I need to hear them debate first and know what their ideas are before I make a decision. Due to the recent happenings in our country, I believe Filipinos should first know what their choices' ideas and plans are before they vote.

ehh no hopeful yet for me... i really think we should start campaigning about the candidates qualification... i mean we can start like, this is what the president should do, this is what a senator does... maybe campaigns like to help people think what a good senator can do to improve our government...

Among those who have announced their intention to run for President I think BF has the best performance history, so I know that he will be a good Pres. His ideas may not be popular to some sectors of society but let's face it, the results into a first class city during his term. He is an action man, not a pencil pusher. He used to go around Marikina at odd times to see what needed to be done like which streets need work, need light, etc., not just rely from the reports of those around him.
