We are so proud of our son Stuart!! He got saved on Sunday February 22. The movie "Fireproof" was shown at our church that night. After it was over he and Amanda were taking a friend home. After she got out Stuart told Amanda he needed to be saved!! Amanda asked him if he wanted to go speak to our pastor and he told her he did. She told me she broke the speed limit getting back to the church!! They caught our pastor just as he was going to his car to leave. They stood in the parking lot and Stuart prayed to receive Christ right there!! My husband and I didn't get to go to church that night but they called me and told me about it! We were thrilled and all of us just Praising God!! God Bless You All!! SheliaLee

That is wonderful news! The fact that Christ is in your life gives you hope in any situation....gives you something to lean on and when you have that support...knowing you are loved.....life is so much more wonderful.

I praise God for that Sis. Just continue to pray for your son and do encourage him to read the Bible as to what Joshua 1:8 says. He will have to face a lot of struggles and tests in life. But i am sure that God will not let him have a problem that he will not be able to overcome. I pray that He will continue to run the race and to press on towards the goal. Accepting Christ in our life is the best decision, but we must understand that we will also have to turn away from the sins we do commit and live a life pleasing and according to God's will.

Thank you so much for responding, and you are entirely right in what you say. We have been encouraging him and trying to also answer any questions that he has. With he being autistic we were not really sure how much he understood about salvation, but the Lord gave him what he needed at the time he needed it.

That is wonderful! What great news. Amanda must have been praying not to get a ticket, lol. It is always a blessing to have another Christian in the world, let alone one's own family. My parents bought Fireproof and they plan to show it at our church some Wednesday night soon.

That's awesome that Stuart has been saved and that the movie Fireproof was able to help him along in his decision to accept Christ into his Heart as his Lord and Savior. I haven't seen the movie, but I hear it is really good.

I seen that movie not too long ago, and its an inspiring one. I'm going to suggest to my brother that he and his wife watch it, I think it may do wonders in their relationship, when I was watching it, it kinda reminded me of him, they've been having some problems, and I really think it will help. Praise the Lord, I'm glad your son got saved....Have a good day

We loved the Fireproof movie and have been praying that it would lead people to the Lord. That is awesome news that your son has accepted Christ! They are having a party in heaven today for sure! Be sure to help him seek the Lord and grow in knowledge so he can increase his faith. A really good book that he might enjoy is called "the shack". It is a great description of the nature of God.
