do you believe in these things? i have read a book and it's written well. it makes me wanna believe that someday i will be happy with my soulmate. the book says, or the author rather wrote that our soul undergoes a series of rebirths (reincarnation) to pay for the wrong things we did (karma) during our past life or lives. and when the time is right, we will meet our soulmate, the other half of our soul. that two halves will help each other to evolve into a higher level of personality. but, to be able to really understand the concept of soulmates, the author says that you should also believe in reincarnation and karma. i don't really believe in it but i'm waiting for the right time.. to already meet my soulmate. lol! we are all entitled to our own opinions right?

I have the same book that you have read If you don't believe in it, it means that you don't fully understand what was written there

One of the universal laws states that whatever kind of negativity or positivity you create towards others, you will receive back - sooner or later. It's called the Law of Karma. You could also describe it as the universal Law of Justice, or the Golden Rule ("Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"). The Law of Karma is why it's important to pay close attention to how you are living your life, and how you affect others. Karma: Non-refundable, Non-exchangeable There is no way to change bad karma to good once it is created, not through your own actions. You can act in positive, loving ways and hope that it will release your bad karma, but there are no guarantees. Your only true karmic power is over the kind of karma you choose to create, from this point forward. Whatever you create, that is what you will receive back in your own life. Resolving Your Karma The two ways that karma can be resolved are: 1) To walk through the karma-resolving experiences that naturally show up along your spiritual path, and 2) For Spirit to choose to lift that karma from you, through grace. So, the best you can do is to be careful what new karma you are creating be being as honest and loving as you can be, to experience your life challenges with grace, and to ask Spirit for your healing and releasing of karma as is for the highest good of all involved. How Knowing About Your Karma Can Help You So, the reason for examining your unresolved karma is not so you can try to balance or resolve it, because you can't hurry or change the course of karma - only Spirit can. The reason to consider your karma is to help you understand why you're having some of the experiences you're having in this life, and to help you learn about the consequences of taking negative, judgmental, or harmful actions with yourself or others. I do believe in karma in a way. Reincarnation and Soulmate is something that is very like unexplainable as of now, there is no such scientific study or proof for that matter, it follows beliefs and that is hard to come by.

Can you please tell me the name of the book?? i too would love to read it once. Well yes i believe in karma the most. i believe what i do i will pay for it later for sure. May be it good or may be it bad. i have pure feelings that you cannot be happy by doing something bad in your life and you can never be a winner by making someone else loose by your bad deeds. All you do comes back to you sooner or later but you will definetly soon. happy mylotting

Hi jane, For me i don't believe in karma and soulmate. I would say karma does not actually a resback of what we did wrong during the past or recently and same things to soul mate, it's not our fate to be with somebody. It is so because things or shall we say events happens as a result of the path we followed and the actions we did. Like for example, a person had stolen a cellphone last week but this time that person's cellphone was also stolen. The event does not actually imply karma, it happened because that person was careless in handling his things. Also with regards to soulmate. It was our actions that brought us to someone and its not the fate. So i would end it that events happens as a result of our carelessness and uncontiousness or in general our actions without any relation to what we did wrong towards others. ?? :-)

Hmm... I believe in karma because it happened to me a lot of times already (well, I am not always doing bad things). Reincarnation on the other hand, well, I don't think that it is real, you don't even know if you are reincarnated or not. Soulmate on the other hand. No either. Sorry. I don't have a proper explanation why I don't believe this but I just really don't believe it. Hehehe.

Being born a Hindu, reincarnation and Karma are the two pillars of my faith. I believe in them blindly so to say. I like to think that my soul is evolving thru successive births and at one point of time, my soul would be released from this cycle. Karma is there for all of us to see…even you can feel it in your daily life. Any good deed brings you happiness, content and good returns…similarly, bad deeds always result in something bad happening to either us or our loved ones sometime in our life…so we pay for most of our bad actions in this life itself. However, if the bad deeds are many, the soul carries its imprints into the next life. Regarding soul mate, Hindu marriages are based on the fact that the husband and wife are pre-determined and were the same couple thru multiple births and rebirths. While it might be a good deterrent to divorce, but the thought definitely makes one feel good that a couple has been together in love and marriage for so many births.

Everyone is entitled to his/her own ideas, and everybody's ideas are different. I too, believe in Reincarnation, and Life after Life. My ideas for karma are different than the author of the book you read. I'd suggest you study Spirituality, and related topics that have been written by other authors. Each author will have a different understanding, and in this way you can get a better understanding of the topic.

I do believe in those things even though I don't have any proper learning or study about it. I just have this feeling that they really happen. Me personally have a strong feeling that I am a reincarnated one. I can't explain but its a really strong feeling here.

Absolutely! I am a member before of Hare Krsna and those are among their teachings. There's nothing wrong if we believe. Like what they said we'll never know it if it didn't happen before.

personally I do not believe in reincarnation. However, I believe in karma, retributions. There were people in my life who did me wrong and they were punished with bad things in their lives. I had also done wrong to others and was punished in my own way. What goes around comes around. May it be good or bad things we do. Retribution or karma may not be immediate. But it will catch up with us one day. Your soulmate will come. Have patience. I found mine after 13 year of searching. Also to find your soulmate, you must be prepared for your soulmate. I wish you all the best.
