Looking for some Suggestions

I am going to Las Vegas next month and I was wondering what else there is to see in the area around the city. I have already booked tours to see the Grand Canyon and hoover dam and I am renting a car to see Death Valley. Is there anything else I am missing that is a must see in the area? Also, are there must sees within the city of Las Vegas that I should see? Thanks!

I've only been there once, overnight, and it was a very rushed trip. So I can't advise you one way or another but it's going to be HOT!! Be sure that you always carry a bottle of water, even if you're on a tour with others, because it's VERY easy to get dehydrated. When I lived in Arizona I was always amazed at the tourists who would walk all day and not think to drink some water--they usually wound up with heat stroke and/or dehydration.
If you luck out and the desert isn't an oven yet, carry water anyway. The air is dry and sucks the moisture right out of your pores. ALWAYS carry water, no matter where you're going or what your're doing, and drink it!
