I don't mind using the touchscreen especially when I am just doing paperwork, the mouse helps when I'm editing graphics though =)

Touch pad or touch screen? Some responses here are about touch pads. Anyways... I prefer touch pads when I'm doing simple things like, typing, coding, browsing, etc but when I need to do some tough graphics editing jobs, I prefer mouse a lot :D For touchscreen, as long as the job I do doesn't require long dragging then I prefer ouch screens over mouse :D

It is very difficult to do graphics while using the touch screen... so i prefer to use mouse with that sort of work... but right now... i always use the touch screen... since i do not want another extra gadget to carry when i am not in the office...

Yes I depend most on the mouse when using my laptop. It is what I am used to. It is hard for me to just use the touchpad alone. I can work fast with a mouse. And yah especially when touching up pictures. It is more easier to move with the help of a mouse.

I always bring a mouse. Because the touch screen annoys me sometimes, it doesn't follow you. And I also do editing with photoshop that is why I bring a mouse. Hehehe.

I always bring the mouse with my laptop and am not okay with just the touch screen. It drives me nuts without my mouse. I have gotten so used to the mouse that I can not imagine using my laptop for anything with out it. Especially for writing documents but also, like you say, for editing graphics especially.

I also prefer a mouse. In fact I'm using a wireless mouse and a wireless keyboard with which I can manipulate my laptop from a rather long distance. It's easier and more convenient than the touchpatch.

I really would like to have a mouse for my laptop. The touch pad is so sensitive sometimes and not responsive enough at others. It drives me crazy!
