it is very bad news for indian cricket fans.but this deciesion is now final.BCCI had to take this decision because of govt. if they want to keep IPL alive this year, they have not been left to anyother choice except moving abroad.and govt . is saying now that BCCI has taken this decision when they are in middle of discussion, how can govt. say that? when they will take decision after 1 or 2 months? only 20 days are left and govt. has given such a non-sense answer.from the beginning, govt. didn't want to support IPL and finally BCCI and IPL took this decision.i am very happy about this decision.and these senior citizens[politician of our country] should not be allowed in future IPL and also they said that it is a private game show.then why they interfere with such an event.the damage has been done to ipl but somehow it has survived.what do you think about this thing?? what was the main reason? security or politics??

I think it is the right decision to shift IPL out of India, for this edition. No point in blaming the Indian government or the respective state governments. I think they are right in saying an outright No. Just imagine, how much the security forces has to extend just to organize a sporting event. I think we need to get our priorities right. I am a cricket fan and love the entire concept of IPL and its success last year. But, why should someone take a risk and pose all the players to insecurity? We are just looking at the denial from the government. In my opinion, even if the government had given the go-ahead, we would have faced stiff resistance from the foreign players. Many of them would have refused to visit India, quoting the Lahore attack. So, its fine to shift it to South Africa. At least IPL will be alive.

Yes i think election is more important game than the cricket. Cricket can be played any where out of india but election to be played in india with lot of secutity to protect our unwanted votes.Election for betterment of country , betterment of Indians.

Security is more important than playing match of a player.State Minister of Gujrat told today that, Total ipl matches can organized easily in gujrat. And he has no problem to organized in gujrat. At this time, BCCI should talk with Gujrat Chief Minister Mr.Modi.

It is disappointing to many IPL fans that they are not playing in our own country. Lets keep our minds open though. Security of the players is so very important. So lets just put up with it for now.

From the very initial state I told it. The indian Govt was not quite co-operative with IPL. So it is pulled out of India. Now what is the difference between Sl team being attacked in Pakistan, India pulling out 'INDIAN Premium League' out from India. It does not make sense. But what to do. Politicians will remain same.

It is realy sad and painful moments forindian cricket fans. if Ip gos out of india how come other criketers and team will come and play in India . if we are not able to take care of saftey of our players how come ue save foreign cricketers and their team. it is realy shame ful decision for Indian cricket fans.

lalit modi always called ipl as his child.when he planned the second season of ipl this year,he must have anticipated that elections will interfere with ipl this year and could have expected such thing to happen.we cant exactly blame the governments either.though most of us like to see those stupid politicians out of this world, the government is not taking chances.ipl is better off at some other place rather than playing here and put every players life in danger though ipl season wont be a success.

Seems strange as I don't think that the IPL will pull in the crowds like it does in India. I can understand security issues with the election due soon but it is the Indian Premier League not the South African, Australian or English Premier League, so can't see games getting even close to being sold out
