Hiii!!! I know people love to watch TV shows, but do they love TV shows more than movies? I mean, I love watching Prison Break, for example, but I can't say it equals Godfather. So, for me, movies are better. What about you, do you like movies or TV shows?

hi volkus, my dear friend, i dont like watching daily soaps at all. i just dont like them. same crying , same infidelity , same vamps , same story lines. its such a bore . i dont like it at all. i rather sit on internet and study something than wasting time on these kind of stupid serials or tv shows or soaps or whatever you call them. movies tooo, i dont like watching much. but as compared to daily soaps, then yes, atleast once in a blue moon, one can see me watching a movies but never a show or something like that.

But there are shows worth to be watched, for example - Prison Break, Friends or Two and a Half-Men. They are all made with the spirit of friendship and family love, don't you think? Yes, as for the time wasted, you are right, instead of watching one hour a sitcom that doesn't even make you smile you'd rather read a book or study something else, this in the case if you don't have thing to do related to your family or school. But, it depends on each of us...

I must say that i do enjoy movies more. Especially watching movies at home. I hate the theater but there is something special about turning off the lights in your house setting the mood making a bowl of popcorn and watching a movie sprawled on your couch in your underwear. :)

i disagree ;) the theater is the best way to watch a movie! the sound and the BIGGGG screen makes the move much more attractive. but what do you think about the new 3D and 4D theares? with the moving seats and water splashing arround you? some of them have the screent very wide and curved, and with 3d glasses you can have am experience that you won't forget!

I love watching my shows and thank god for DVR I can record and watch when my kids are asleep. More time to spend with them while they are up. Lets see I like Desperate housewives, amazing race, brothers and sisters, Secreat life of american teen, medium, jon and Kate plus 8, little people big world, one tree hill, Bones, scrubs, 18 and counting, ugly betty, er, greys anatomy, private practice, ghost whisperer, I think that is it could be some that I am missing. I watch Samantha who every now and then but it hasn't been that great lately. The new season comes on this week so we will see how it will be. I am looking forward to watching in the motherhood.

Personally, I prefer to watch movies. There really aren't many television shows that I enjoy watching. There are some, but very few. I'm more of a movie person, to be honest. I've never been really into television shows.

It's 50/50 for me. There are plenty of TV programmes which I enjoy as much as some movies but then there are times when only a movie will do. I definitely can't think of a programme which comes close to The Godfather or many films to be honest.

I love TV but I don't know that I can say it is above movies as they are so different. There are so many kinds of tv shows from news programs to soap opera to prime time that all serve a different purpose. Movies are a little more about escaping into another realm, at least when you watch them on the big screen in a theater. It's a completely different type of sensory experience.
