which pays better? blogs or revenue-sharing writing sites?

i hear that many bloggers make a lot of money. i also hear that writers make money writing articles for websites like associated content, bukisa, etc.
i am keen to gain a better insight into both. but first i'd like to know which pays better and consistently?

I personally hav not made money with blogging. I know some people do aute will with blogging though. I have made some money on the writing sites. I guess there are some
people who like to blog. I wish that I was better a blogging but there are many writing sites that do pay money. I like most of them.
