dealing with depression gives me a hard time...

I get depressed easily especially when I cannot explain to myself the possible reasons of something. I get so mute and would never like to do anything so I tend to cancel the made plans for the day and so on. The worse thing is I eat more that I do if im alright. Its just not good, eating will make me gain weight more and more..

are you a virgo by any chance? Virgos are very sensitive and want everything to be perfect. If one thing doesnt go right, they treat the entire day as a wasted day! And they think think and think all the time! You need to take a chill pill :) Just repeatedly tell yourself "Its ok.." no big deal. And stop critising yourself too much.. If you eat more, let it be! You wont bloat up immediately ok.. Start exercising if you can. One must exercise regardless of overweight or underweight ;) Maybe you could write down when you are trying to explain any problem to yourself or maybe draw a flowchart or diagram and talk aloud while doing it. Are u actually talking about your bf/gf who did or didnt do something? If thats the case, you cant do much, you are bound to think a lot! LOL And if Im right about that, then let me warn you, a good relation is one wherein you are happy and get happier by the day... If you are getting worried all the time and losing your sleep over it, it might be a wrong reln. Hope this helps.

Well even i was same, but later i realised crying over problems is not going to make any change. Rather, i decided to fight against problems and now i feel great.

I can relate with this one, as I have to deal with this type of thing from time to time as well. Sometimes mine can be seasonal around certain anniversaries of Bad things that have happened, or other physical things going on causing them as well. But personally it really is up to us how we control it, or let it control us as well. If it is getting to take over everything then it is time to start seeking help and letting people know what is going on as well.

Dealing with depression is never easy because one will never allow others to help u with it.. ANd the more ple tried to help u, the more one will convince themselves that they are actually not depressed.. AS for oneself, one should try to take the hints before depression actually kicks in.. If one is frustrated or cant seem to do things the right way, take a break from it.. Walk around, relax, and u should feel better ^_^ DUn wait till things gets worse before u decide to do anything, which is gonna be too late ^_^

it can if you let it. when i feel that way i get busy doing something in the house or out in the yard, washing the car or whatever. u can;t just sit down & giveinto it. i think that's the worse thing u can do is let it get ahold of you. call or go see a friend, there's worse off people than us if you'll just look around & quit feeling sorry for yourself. we all have things to depress us, we just can't let it get the best of us.

i am as well having a hard time dealing with my depression from time to time. i tried every possible way to forget about it, but it's no use. once the depression came to me, i felt like a zombie and lifeless. when i am depress, i drink a lot, i can empty 1 whole bottle of brandy all by myself and still wanting more. it's not good for me, i know but that's the only way i can resort my self from depression.

I get depressed when I seem to be faced with a conundrum or an impossible problem. Some problems just have no easy solution and it is difficult to deal with them to think of a solution. I think that the solutions are fairly easy sometimes, but the answers are difficult to deal with. It is hard to deal with many things in life.
