All the parents dedicate their best time and stull for child, they are concerned about you more than themselves, they remember all of the important days of you. Now, maybe they are old, maybe you are growing up so that can living alone. If you can remember all of the important days of parents? To say the least, if you remember your parents' birthday? For me, I am 27 years old and live in another city, so just go back to see my parents for 2-3 times each year. Phone is the most improtant device. Before every birthday of me and my wife, my parents would give us a call to celebrate, never missing. I know my birthday has been in their heart. But me, I am really shamed of me, I know my parents' birthday but sometimes I can remember it timely. My father's birthday happened in ten days ago, but I remembered it just the day before yesterday. When I did a late call to my father, he still very happy , he even comforted me when I said I am sorry. I know ten days ago, he must take the phone whole day, he must feel sad when he didn't get a call from me. I am still very sorry so I set up my parents' birthday in my phone as a alert. I also hope each child can remember parents' birthday. Just a call or a together meal is enough for them.

Hello there , i can relate to this one. I also love my parents and for them they do remember our birthdays too although now they often forgot some important dates like their own wedding anniversary. Today i greeted my parents a happy wedding anniversary. To their amaze, they already forgot that it was their Anniversary. About birthday, well we don't forget their birthdays, my mom's on June and my dad is on November. And even if we are far away from each other, we never forget to greet each other on our birthday. I hope someday if we have given the opportunity to gather as a family, i would like to make it special just for them. For now have to save money to make that idea into reality. Happy Mylotting!

I do remember my parents birthday. Usually I would greet them on their birthdays and on some cases we celebrate together with those close to our family. Sometimes its just the family with our children. It is really nice to remember their birthday and have some time together. It would really make them happy knowing that we remembered and that we are there.

I come from a culture that values family so much and in this part of the world, forgetting your parents' birthdays is a big no. So, yes, I do remember my parents' birthdays, the dates and the exact year they were born. In fact my dad is turning 60 years old soon and my mom and I are planning a big celebration for him. I try to remember birthdays of people who are close to me (even those that are not my family), simply because I care about them and I love them. And I really appreciate it when they remember my birthday as well.

i remember my fathers birthday .he is born in 1945 ,aug 15 ,that is, he is born 2 years before our country(india) independence day .he tells that matter every time, when his birthday is there on aug15th. i didn;t remember my mother's birthday, because she only don;t know exact birthday of her.she tells may be ,this and that.as she has born in remote village ,no body noted her date of birth there and didnt take birth cerificate also. and she didn;t celebrate her birthday any day, from our childhood. but i will greet on my father's birthday.i am , though in different country now ,i will greet him on his birthday.

Hello friend, I am not married yet and ours is a small family, with my parents and my married brother. Thus, we never forget each others' birthday. The parents sacrifice so much for us, they go out of their way to ensure we get the best education, the best facilities and we become good citizens. It is our responsibility to take care of them in whichever way we can and wishing them on their birthday by making a phone call is the smallest of such things that would fill them with joy. I am sorry to say this but what you have done is just unacceptable. It was the greatness of your dad that he did not get mad or he even talked to you. Try writing down the birthdays in the calender and setting up a reminder in your mobile and please avoid doing such things in the future. It would make the parents insecure.

I do remember my parents' birthday. My working place is not far away from my parents and I live together with them. My parents are both living a simple life and are very thrifty. They always ask us not to celebrate for their birthday and consider it a waste of money, but we always insist buying a birthday cake to have a simple celebration party.

yes i do remember, but the thing happens is they never celebrate it ever. I tried to send them out for dinner or i even think of organising something but it never happens with me. I then try to make something for them for dinner or lunch and try to gift them. i am thinking of gifting them this timelets see how it works out but dont know what to gift.

Indeed, I think have a simple celebration together is good if you living not far. I also think this is most acceptable by them. But don't know why they don't never happened.

Yes it is very true with just a simple call or a card makes there day special. I am 32 and I still remamber my parents B day and my brothers. and my parents anniversary. It is hard to remember in a timely manner I have the B day set up in my phone also and I try to write them on the calandar also. I know your father was very happy that you called even though it was late but it still ment something. You remembered you cared. I am sure he was worried on his birthday because he didnt hear from you thinking ok maybe you forgot. But when you realized you made the call.
