kenroxas, There are so many different ways to be a leader, but finding the balance is tough. It's the old addage of "Too many chiefs and not enough indians." It's also hard to be a leader and have a group of people follow, at least a little bit in one direction. I have been a leader in many different capacities. The one that really drove me nuts, except motherhood, was being President of my neighborhood association. I knew what I was getting into, but as it turned out I was being bribed to think one way and I refused to bribe to get others to think my way. I had thought that, when I was voted in, that they saw someone that would be honest enough and fair enough to see that I did have an understanding of the issues, but my answer was to come up with alternatives, maybe a consession? What I found out was that they wanted a scapegoat or figurehead. I wasn't into that. I couldn't wait till my term was up. I'll never do that again. DCMerkle

an ordinary member can also be a leader, its just depends on the situation. Like for example in a case of fire, you don't have to wait for someone to ask you what to do, you can be a leader in your own ways. you know better what to do in case of a fire situation. but as to your question to become a president someday, well i have dream to be a president of a certain company but to be a president of a country, i think it will just be a dream. I don't like politics either.
