For so many years, I only visited a few places here in the Philippines. The one that I like best is Laguna for this is similar to where I live. It's a little bit warm in some areas though but as you go deeper, you can see feel the cool air, see clean streams, ever green trees/shrubs and other beautiful spots. They also have many hot springs. Enjoy the summer there friends!

Benguet is not in Mountain Province. It is another province in the Cordillera adjacent to Mountain Province. The Banaue Rice Terraces is not in Mountain Province either, it's in Ifugao, another province of CAR. But you are right, Baguio City is within Benguet. It's a chartered city and oftentimes mistaken as outside Benguet. Lot's of people don't even bother to check this fact.

Hi irine66, good day to you my kababayan. Just like you irene66, i also visited few places at my age of 18, i already visited in batangas because one of our province is batangas and since i was a child, we always go in our province in Batangas, every end of the school which means in the summer season. In our province there are so many trees and the land is wide, there is also many beautiful view in there, and because there is so many trees, i can say that we are very far from air polution, like in manila, which is very dirty place and because the wind are very dirty for the reason most of the vehicle having a bad color of smoke which is the black one. This kind of dirty of the wind causes the burning of ozone layer of the earth which is very dangerous if that thing will happen. When we are going in our province we always with my cousin, and as i remember, my cousin told me that if we will expose to the dirty air, there is a big chance that we will have a sick or deasease like the T.V. which is one of the very dangerous disease and as i saw in the article, it is stated there that this disease is one of the number one enemy here in our country. That's why, we need to relax sometimes to those place that was good and clean. I would like to add, again and share my experience in travelling, as we go to the place of my father in Pampanga and just stay for a while to have a vacation. I really feel down that time because there dialects are very unique, and my problem is i do not know how to understand that dialects. And because of that, i easily got bored and after several days i requested to my parents that we must go home, because i really that i am an alien in the place. Well that's all my response to you forum topic discussion entitled "places i visited. Philippines". I hope i give a very interesting respnse. . . Happy posting to you irene66 and happy earning here in this site and good luck to our earning career. . . Mabuhay! ! ! =)

That's good. A mother like us should be concern to where our children live and I'm sure she went to the right place, so natural to live in. Next time you go try their hot spring. You'll be relieved from body stress.

Laguna is one of the places that I've already visited here in the Philippines, We literally went through all the towns in Laguna trying to find a buko pie store. We ended up in Calamba where it's already near the South Expressway. We should've taken the South Expressway route had we known that the buko pie store is located in Calamba.

That's great! We should be tourists of our own country first. The one place I'd like to visit is Palawan and its pristine beaches. They say we're closest to nature when we're there, enjoying the white sand and clear, sparkling water. It would really be a treat. But Boracay (I have visited the place) is something else. It's already "adulterated" by tourists who flock there every summer. It's noisy, too commercialized, and is a place for exhibitionists! He, he, he. I would love to go to the place in Laguna too with the hot spring. It would really be another treat.....

I agree with you that we should patronize our own scenic spots. In china, tourism in the local level is promoted. They believe in that way they can help their government.Palawan is also a sort of paradise. I also look forward in going there someday. You are lucky to have gone in Boracay.

I just recently found that there are many beautiful beaches, mini springs, falls and beautiful sights in the islans of Samar, particularly Eastern Samar. I was there last week and we visited many beach resorts, natural swimming pools and many breathtaking natural sights. I would be visiting that place again.

the places that i had been in this country are of course Cavite (my province), my dad's province Albay. aside from that, i had been to Sorsogon, Naga, Camarinez Sur, Camarinez Norte, Quezon Province, Lipa, Pagsanjan (Falls), Pansol (hot springs), Los BaƱos (UP), San Pedro (E.K.), Rizal, Batangas (beaches), Tagaytay, Bulacan, Pampanga, Subic, Bataan, Pangasinan (this is the farthest province up north i had been through)...never been to Baguio . in the visayas, i saw San Juanico bridge and had the chance to drive my car there, it was really amazing, it's like being on the 20th to 25th floor from a building. i've been to Leyte, Samar, and Bohol. i haven't been to Mindanao yet. i want to go to General Santos.
