i think it's natural for us humans to find it really hard to forgive someone who has hurt or killed someone close to our heart but i also think that everyone deserves to be forgiven the way God forgives us for our sins. if He does it then why should we not? everyone deserves chances and i'm sure it feels a lot better when you have forgiven someone you really hate.

I think we did just that about a year ago. I guess when you are secure of your faith in God, you can do just about anything.. even forgive someone who killed one of your loved ones..

Hi there violeta_va. If ever someone will kill any of my loved ones, i don't know but it will be very hard for me to forgive him/her. I don't mind what his/her reasons would be. Killing a person is still the darkest way to overcome something. It might take years before i can forgive that person.

Although I know it's supposed to be the right thing to do to forgive ppl, I'm afraid I don't have the strength to forgive something like that. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Truly, that is difficult to answer...was the demise accidental, could it have been prevented. Or was it out & out murder? If it was truly accidental, yes, I certainly could find it in my heart to forgive! If it was preventable, and was the cause of stupidity (like drunken driving)....it would be much more difficult, and pure murder...NO, there would be NO forgiveness in my heart! Cheers!
