why did you liked "SLUMDOG MILLIONAIR"?

I have yet to watch this movie. Missed it on the big screen. Now waiting for the local video store to carry it. I will go rent it and watch when I get the chance. So much has been written about this movie. I am just curious to see how good this movie really is.

I was strongly touched of watching this film. First I went to see it just because of its celebrity, I thought that a 9-oscared film deserved to watch. But I just didn't think that I was so obsessed by its scenario. The slumdog children struggling to survive, desiring to live and love; the viciousness and the insensivity of the adults,... these panorama have a strange attraction. Knowing the life is hard, I coudln't imagine it were so cruel. The film makes me ask myself: Whether I've been living too ignorantly?
