signs of spring...

also here spring but it feels like winter cold and dark but the weatzher forecast said starting tuesday will have a real spring. my favorite season is summer but sad in europe very short summer

Hi Cher, I love Spring, a new and fresh beginning. Here in Pa, the robins are back ans the purple crocuses are up here too. My daffodils are above ground and are almost ready to show the wonderful bright yellow. I can see many buds on the trees now too as you drive down the highways and see a red hew on all the trees. I feed the birds in my back yard and there are quite a few varieties chirping early i the morning and the are eating me out of food every week. I was watching the robins yesterday getting worms out of the lawn as well and that is a sure sign of Spring here.

my favorite season is early fall, it is not cold and not hot, I love october weather, spring is often very damp and can be cold, so I like october, I am here in Quebec

Hi cher, I love all discussions that speak of the coming of Spring, especially here in Canada. Although winter wasn't as cold and we didn't have as much snow as last year, I'm still excited about Spring. I know this is a big country and conditions may not have been the same where you live. Spring is my favourite season as it speaks of new birth and fresh beginnings. Thank you for this discussion, I feel better just thinking about it. Blessings.

Hi cher! I love Spring too! I have started to hear the birdies chirp too! But, unfortunately there haven't been any other signs of Spring yet because it is still a bit to cold here in NY! No signs of any beautiful foiliage or blossoms yet either! It is only in the 40's or 50's during the day and still goes back down to the 30's at night! So I guess we still have a few more weeks to go to really start seeing any real signs of Spring!

I think it is supposed to be Spring here. Though the cold weather begs to differ. Jeesh how I miss New Orleans, LA USA. *sigh* My favourite season is Summer. I love the heat. I love how the days are long. I love how people get out of their homes and go outside more. I love the smell of cut grass. I love the summer rains. I love no longer confining my feet in closed shoes and socks. The only thing I do not like about Summer are the insects. Yech. Anything with more than 4 limbs is not my friend!

Hello Friend I am so pleased to add that we are seeing things pop out of the earth as well. I have been working alot outside. I have a stone wall that has been falling down for years. I am having a great time placing the stone puzzle peices together. It looks so nice when it is together. I plan to plant vines that will grow in front to help hold it together. xxxx
